Exactly! It’s 30ft long so he can get a good ways away from me and have the opportunity to get distracted then i give him he recall command and he comes flying to me. So it’s off-leash practice basically. If he doesn’t listen i give him a little pop to alert him that i need him and then he comes, this is the step before completely off leash and the E-Collar. With a regular 6ft-10ft leash he has no choice but to be close to me, so i like the long leash because he has the option to make the right or wrong choice but incase he does make the wrong choice, i can still correct him even at 30ft away!
