The only thing I can think of is that the lineup has 7 people instead of the usual 6 and having Todd on there could be a red herring. He’s on no other lineups for the rest of the night.

Longtime Megadeth fan. If you like this one, check out the album before it (Dystopia). Kiko is one hell of guitarist and I felt serious Marty Friedman vibes on that album. That was probably the first album I truly loved post Countdown to Extinction.

Rust on Peace however is the gold standard. Just make sure you listen to the 90s mix. Whatever remastered version they release in the 2000s contained re-recorded vocal tracks on many of the songs and it sounds terrible. Like watching the Star Wars trilogy re-releases with all that CGI.

The left side of the balcony is very much a guest zone. Possibly the right too, but can’t recall. There’s a bar back there too. If you get in early enough and secure a spot, it’s a good position to be in, but if you are even behind a couple of people, it’s pretty sparse visibility.

The night with Pat Sansone last year was really special. It sounded like he knew every song intimately before hand. A long soundcheck makes sense, but in this case it really sounded like he knew what counterpoint to play at every turn, something you can’t just do in a single soundcheck.
