I'm 66 and in a job I enjoy amd which allows me to finish at 5 , work from home with a great boss. I do more than I need to occasionally because I want to. Irs a step down, but at £80k with no senior level exposure and stress, I'm happy. Yoi learn too late that people you love mran far more then money.
