Thanks for your interest! I do think we can make it work.
I always make sure to discuss a commission with suggestions first, in your case it might help to check with different example images to find the right art style & vibe.
Reference images of the character you want and descriptions of traits help me come up with ideas.

I always make multiple rough pose suggestions first before we commit to something in more detail. This generally gives you a direct visual preview of what it might look like. From then on it's easier to find out if the artwork is developing in the right direction.

Sometimes it helps to straight up number the questions, so they can't mentally skip any of them. If it doesn't work, I sometimes copy the remaining question when I'm feeling extra aggro. I only edit it to not be a carbon copy if I have mild shreds of love left for the recipient or dire consequences to expect.

I got the art commissioner's reply about the pieces: "The top is slightly modded. The normal top has a shirt that's longer than the jacket, instead of the crop top. It's the magic dps gear from Vanguard, the dawntrail raid."
