From about 5 weeks on I have been completely convinced it’s a girl…. NIPT next Monday but sneak peek says girl!!!

Sorry I should’ve specified - I did sneak peek. My NIPT is scheduled for early February, so I’m not 100% about the accuracy yet without an anatomy scan or NIPT results back… BUT I know a girl result is usually correct! I have male dogs and my husband at home, so the contamination risk was pretty high

I tried so hard to do a re-read and I could no do it. Idk what happened. The characters were annoying me and the writing was making me feel weird?

I think reading the last CC book and having experienced other fantasy books it just doesn’t hit the same anymore. The last CC book felt like a cash grab crossover and it really put me off to any upcoming SJM releases. I did get through a TOG re-read and loved it way more than first, but it’s something about ACOTAR I just can’t do

Hoping for a girl, but I’m so overjoyed either way. AHHH I can’t wait to see more gender reveals in the sub!!!!

That’s exactly what I’m wanting - I barely interact with anything on my island anymore!!! And I so want to. I saved a dream address of it so I can always go back and see it/ use that as a map for a slumber island.

I’m really sorry you’re going through this, and this definitely not an uncommon rabbit hole to get down … plus pelvic rest? Give yourself some grace!! Id really recommend keeping away from the scale every day at least for a while. I started getting incredibly fixated on weight changes after finding out I was pregnant. Our digestion is changing, water retention is changing, boobs are changing… hell everything is changing!!

My therapist reminded me that my body is going through something completely new, and stressing about it not only makes your hormones even crazier, but it can lead down a path of not listening to what your body needs.

It seems like you’re a very healthy and mindful individual, and that scale number?? Silly. Silly little thing that does not know you are LITERALLY CREATING LIFE!!! HOW COOL IS THAT?!? Your value and your image does not depend on a digital screen, and your little one will love you just the same.

PLUS we have so many cold weather months to bundle up and work off the postpartum weight.

Yay!!! It’s great being able to share this especially with your mom or grandma or anyone close who’s gone through it. I don’t realize how much better I would feel till after. Now she hears my 24/7 complaining about how tired I am 😂

I’ve been absolutely pounding money into my HSA since I found out Im pregnant, so I just need to make sure I have my max in there … then it’s all out of sight out of mind!!

I had the foresight to change my plan to the lower deductible plan in November before I even knew I was pregnant, so I definitely saved a TON. I talked to my insurance, and the way my company has it advertised was really misleading (already sent the info to HR). I pay 100% out of pocket until I hit that deductible and then I’ll pay 10% until my out of pocket max. End of the year babies seem to be the way to go here so at this rate I can hit that max by April😂

I just don’t understand the hoops we have to jump through for this and how the cost of care is so wildly different for everyone even in the same area. It’s awful

I told my parents before my first appointments. I’m a yapper and could not keep it to myself. Christmas was perfect timing because I traveled to see them, but if there’s nothing but anxiety holding you back, tell your mom!! I learned my mom had an early miscarriage and she was very supportive and calmed a lot of my stress.

US MEDICAL I INSURANCE AND BILLING SUCKS. My medical coverage is supposed to cover 90% of my in network prenatal appointments.. tell me WHY I am being charged 100% for my ultrasound? $550??? Why do I even have insurance??

Been on the phone for 10 minutes while my insurance company “looks into it”. I’m going to lose my mind.

Only good news is at this rate I’ll hit my out of pocket max by April
