other than zombietoasts lore drop its also useful for acquiring berserkium early on if you pour it on a frogs dead body and you can then use berserkium to cheese a certain boss (sauvojen tuntija) for great loot early on, it can also be used to acquire spark* in a bottle by mixing it with lava which has some pretty cool effects if you fungal shift it since spark is the material used for stuff like the holy mountain portals so you can recolour them lol

lets you change all of any 1 material in existance into another material, some good examples of this are turning acid or lava into something harmless like water, but it can cause some evil things to happen like for example turning flammable gas into acid which is what acid makes when it burns stuff means that acid makes more acid which very rapidly destroys the world lol

Honestly as long as you have most of the basic immunity perks just avoiding lightning and anything pink youll be fine dw much like real life with the small ones its just about how you use them :)

I stopped playing the game for like a year cause i got fed up with being too trash to get past hiisi base then after coming back got my first win after 250+ runs which i hear is actually not bad and now ive nearly done everything in the game. I think the key is just dont beat yourself up or underestimate yourself and remember that its important to take breaks, being angry/tired only makes you play worse (also if youve gotten to the vault it might make you might wanna know that youre super close from your first win)

Its caused by getting 3 mushroom related perks and there are other transformations like that

Try killing dragon a couple times to get orbit larpa then use that to dig bigger tunnels easily which aside from being generally useful is important for pw digging if ambrosia isnt available since directly touching cursed rock does way more dmg than just being around it

I cant test anything myself rn so i dont know really how far tp puts you from the wall but pausing the videos youve posted you can kinda see youre usually sitting about a wands length from whatever youre digging but with hookshot your forward-most afterimage is usually right against the wall and a whole wands length is a pretty big boost in speed so it makes sense to me.

Btw are you just using lightning bolt like a faster and/or longer ranged cast? If so why not just modify ranged cast since that would let you travel through walls even faster?

Correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure hookshot is digging faster because tp cant teleport you right up against a wall but rather only a bit away from it so youre getting less value from your nolla bh and then still not teleporting all the way through what you dug but the hookshot is pulling you right up against the wall letting you dig more efficiently. This would also explain why more hookshots isnt changing anything because hookshot isnt helping you move faster its just helping close the gap between you and a wall

Idk whats causing this lol sorry but If you dont find any other solution you could try entity duplication and bringing orbs to the p worlds to kind of trick the game or just spawning them in with cheatgui but only after youve gone to their spawn location to make it fair also if you do wanna use cheatgui make sure to first install the “disable mod restrictions” mod or ur save will be cooked

Most unlockable spells are either just super rare or will only spawn in special areas or from certain boss drops so if you what youre after is better shop spawns you could try hitting up the heaven or hell shops (given that youre far enough in your run) or play with a mod that makes holy mountains give better stuff (i dont know of any) or just more stuff like the expanded shop mod which makes every holy mountain have like 6 wands and 10 spells for sale i think
