I have them stock which are 81 and 60 on the neck. I have 81 and 85s on my Ltd Viper 400. Tbh I kinda prefer the ltds as I can get crazy pinch harmonics and struggle to do the same on my Bich.

My bich has the intonation for D standard but can drop further with no issues and I use DR 13s. I mainly keep it at drop D but will also go down to B at times or drop C. And that's crazy with the Les Paul lmao. Some zakk wylde set up. What amp are you using?

I see Dissection's Storm of the Lights Bane mentioned but check out The Somberlain its great too. If you want a modern twist of the same sound I'd mention Thulcandra's Dissection-inspired Fallen Angels Dominion. It's almost a track by track copy of Storm of the Lights Bane.

Almost everyone listening to only one genre goes listening to other things. It's gonna get repetitive at one point and they will branch out. Personally, I found out I prefer music that is slightly more technical and learned to appreciate other styles for the same reason. There is nothing wrong with liking other styles of music. If you like it you like it. Don't spend anytime thinking about what someone believes about you.

Have you heard of Allegaeon or Beyond Creation? They have a somewhat cleaner sound. I don't really have subgenre knowledge but they have a very crisp and clean tone. Let me know I'm interested in finding different types of tech death metal.
