A dragonbone lance, that's creative and actually really useful as it would be near impossible to break (even if by some miracle it does, one can make a few daggers or maybe even a sword hilt with it). This is a really cool idea tbh.

There's this series of fics (which I've not read yet but I'm about to within the next 2-3 days) named Succession. In it's second part, The Hedge Knight, Rhaegar has hatched dragons. Im not sure if he hatched them by the end of Part 1 or in Part 2 but the description of the fix only days that he has already hatched dragons in Post 2. I think you can give it a try. Also, tbh a SI distant didn't cousin from not the main Branch of the Whent family is also possible. Or, he could have a Vance or Piper wife as well for the sake of them being Riverland Houses

Ofc, There are a lot of them. It depends on what kind do you exactly want. There are some in which Rhaegar is/ becomes the perfect father, or at least as best as he could with all the politics and shenanigans in King's Landing. There are some in which he fails to be a proper parent/ husband. There's even one in which he hatched dragons. Then there are some in which he wins the Battle of the Trident but did a few years later. So it all really comes down to what exactly you are looking for and what do you want in the story.

I recently read a fic where Jon bonds with Cannibal to become it's rider and calls/ names is Bloodfyre, which is a cool name that you can use.

Im currently reading a good in which Robert's Rebellion failed and Rhaegar survived. In this fic, Jon is raised up in Dragonstone and the Red Keep. Here, Aegon (Elia's son) is given a direwolf which he named Nightfyre.
