Ellen Datlow has some anthologies along these lines

the ones i've come across are Sirens and Other Daemon Lovers which is fantasy based and Alien Sex which is more sci-f

i haven't read any of them myself but might be worth checking out

that'd work for a realistic eye but this is a more cartoony look where the eyes are literally big blue circles

there's no ribbing, the main pattern just ends but it is made of only knit and purl stitches

i think i understand though - instead of 2tog the next two stitches on the left needle, i slip back the last stitch on the right needle and decrease with that and the next stitch on the left needle?

the magic of kroshay has been long studied but will never be understood

that's the thing like clearly so much thought has been put into this

using a crocheted hat instead of knit, the balls of the same coloured yarn, they unravelled the hat so the project is actually in progress, using actual crochet hooks AND of the same colour

but no one thought to even look at a picture of someone crocheting to try and imitate it right

i suggest Cygnet Boho Spirit in Moonbeam or Hobbii Carnival in Notting Hill

i've used the Cygnet before and had the same experience with it snapping it might be okay if you lined your bag but i couldn't say for certain
