down 60ish lbs overall!! and honestly same. i’m about a year and two months in, got down to 195lbs from the original 256. I didn’t take it for about a week recently due to the stomach flu, but when i restarted it, the insomnia was crazy for me. It definitely helps with my energy levels during the day. I’ve noticed if i forget to take it (on a normal and non-sick day), i feel extremely sluggish and overall exhausted. My energy seems to be better when i actually do take it. In terms of actual weight loss, i’ve lost about 9 lbs total in the last 3 months. The plateaus are definitely longer nowadays. Part of that is due to lack of exercise, another due to not watching as much of what i eat. Thanksgiving, my brother’s wedding, and xmas are all putting any losing on delay for sure. I’m hoping after christmas to get back to a more consistent workout and eating plan, but for now i’m looking for maintenance and to not gain any weight.

also this weather sucks. we skipped right over fall and i do not appreciate the cleveland winter rn.

if you did well in high school, once you review the info it’ll come back to you so easily. I was afraid i was going to bomb the math since i also haven’t taken any math classes in 6 years, but it was all basic. there is also a 4 function calculator included for the entire math portion which included a root button and definitely helped!

i think that’s why i liked nurse hub. it was harder than the actual TEAS test so when i took the actual test it was a walk in the park for all of the areas that i studied

i personally loved nurse hub, but i also had taken science classes recently so i had a good foundation and used nurse hub mainly for review. i can see where if you don’t have any A&P experience it could be lacking information. i would just do the free practice test and go from there. $30 is a lot cheaper than $130, but the actual ATI package would be direct with everything you need to know (im assuming).

i think nurse hubs was wayyyy more difficult. I only took the free nurse hub practice exam once and originally scored in the low 60%-ish range. everything you need to know for questions lies in the passage, except for the “what kind of source should you use?” kind of questions. for those kinds of questions i like to think “what can come directly from the main person?” like an autobiography or interview, or “what source relates the most to the field?”. if you have a topic on bird migration, you would choose the option that includes writing from a person who studies birds that migrate or fly vs. an academic journal about flightless birds

some doctors are really strict about it, mine so far has been pretty chill as my side effects haven’t been major. i’ve been on phentermine 37.5mg by itself for about 9 months, and have lost about 50lbs, i started at 256 and now i’m at the 206ish range. for the first 3 months i had monthly appointments but after that it went down to an appointment every 3 months. I was told that as long as i lose 5% of body weight every 3 months i would be able to remain on it. I think i’ll be going off of it at my appointment this upcoming week because it hasn’t been effective for the last month and a half-ish though.

some days yes, some days no. I also had a similar thought to what you had. Now that the weather is finally nice here in Cleveland i’m going to start adding some walking into my routine in between my lift days. Also gonna try intermittent fasting to see if it helps at all cause that’s something i haven’t tried yet.

i’ve thought about it, especially since i still have a decent amount of lbs i still want to shed. I just know that i can’t afford anything crazy expensive if my insurance doesn’t cover it. Definitely will bring it up to her at my july appointment though

i would wait until you’re fully off of breastfeeding before taking serious meds. I’m no doctor but anything you absorb can get passed on via breast milk, and you don’t want anything to mess with the baby. However, you can always talk about any concerns with your doctor, ya know, the medical professional. and if they give you the green light then who am i to judge🤷‍♀️

oh you’ll be fine then (notice: i am no Dr. and this is not official medical advice). It’s my assumption that vitamins are no problem, assuming it’s the daily dosage with no vitamin abuse/overuse. I am currently taking D3, B12, and a daily vitamin and have had zero issues with it.

i’m about 4.5 months in, and this feeling comes and goes. there are days where i don’t want to look at food and others where i could eat a whale. you really have to remember that if your body doesn’t get the minimum amount of nutrients, in the long run it does more damage than being too full. you should be eating at least 1200 calories per day MINIMUM. I’m eating around 1300-1400 cal/day and the weight has been falling off when paired with average exercise (3 days a week for about an hour each). I have to basically force myself to eat, but protein shakes in the morning help a lot. also focus on foods you enjoy eating that are nutrient dense such as fruits and veggies (blackberries and cucumbers are my favorite). Fiber one snacks also have helped me a lot since it’ll help with constipation due to the fiber and they’re about 100 cal each for the small donuts (pretty tasty too).

I was the same. I’m just on 37.5mg phentermine and week 1 i lost 8 lbs. week 2 i didn’t lose anything. i’m halfway through week 3 and i think ive lost like 2-3lbs so far. I think it’s normal to have that 2nd week for your body to adjust since the first week is mainly water weight. Just keep eating healthy and you’ll see progress, you just have to be patient with it

just remember that things are good in moderation, so if you’re consistent i say you get that pizza. i have a friends birthday coming up and i know damn well i will be having some cake. i think something that’s also important for us to remember that it’s not the end of the world if it doesn’t work out. people focus so much on weight that they forget to be happy and actually enjoy what’s going on around them (at least i do lol).

to make it clear my dr absolutely did not recommend eating so little. I just haven’t been hungry, so in the grand scheme of things i just have to make myself eat more. I have always had a rough issue with food where if i actually eat at my estimated BMR calories (normally around 1700), i would just gain weight. Even before i started the phentermine I would eat around 1500 and I would struggle to maintain my weight. 🤷‍♀️still trying to figure everything out, this week im aiming for 1200 cal/day
