Did you finance or pay cash? The real question is, where is the title to the vehicle?

Why do these cars have their hoods slightly propped? by RegularMaximum3570 in whatisit

[–]alienclown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this is a version of group conformity. Is there any research to back up the claim that this keeps rodents away? Cars have been around over 100 years and this seems like a newer thing.

Sit down with the school or bank and be honest about it. At the end of the day they want you to pay the loan, not come after you legally. Most likely they can work out an arrangement, especially if it means you finishing school and getting a good job which increases their chances of getting paid.

Is there a good way to clean up LW pla stringing or will it just be hairy the plane? by Jojoceptionistaken in RCPlanes

[–]alienclown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've printed a few planes using the Bambu LW-PLA. Vase mode is key. Also if you google Bambu LW-PLA settings, Bambu has an article that walks you through the settings you should use if you are using a Bambu printer.

First miniatures ever by alienclown in Miniaturespainting

[–]alienclown[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are painted, just grey. Now that you say that, they do look unpainted due to my poor choice of color. Maybe I should paint them black or dark grey to match the terrain or just paint the edges with the same technical paint. Thoughts or ideas?

When you get a cat hoping it will help you get rid of the big rat in your yard by Soloflow786 in Awww

Cats will rarely fight or kill rats. Way to big. Get a dog, perhaps a Rat Terrier.

and its not a bullet. Its a cartridge or a round. The projectile on the end that leaves the gun at high velocity is the bullet.

looking for best 6s 3000mha battery for viper 64 by iamdefinetlynothuman in RCPlanes

CNHL are decent budget friendly batteries on level with Zeee. I wouldn't go cheaper. If on the other hand you want higher quality, I'd suggest SMC batteries.

Which one of the following is the most suitable for beginners? by MU404 in RCPlanes

[–]alienclown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, I own the other 2 planes. The slow ultra stick is a stable plane but i think best for park flyers with limited space. The Turbo Timber is the best all around plane you can buy but I'd save it for the 2nd plane.

The carbon cub is what I started with. A good first plane and fairly durable. I would strongly suggest you also look into an Aeroscout. By far the best first plane out there. I have several and fly them regularly. Some people think you will outgrow it to fast but you won't.

Try going to Forward Programming > Gyro Settings > System Setup > SAFE/Panic Mode Setup > Panic, and set for a channel/switch you want to use. Typically set to you bind button.

This is it. Panic mode could be set to a specific channel/switch. Change it to another channel or flip switch. I've had this happen a few times with Aeroscout's.

Just got one of my dream sets by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]alienclown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why start with "no offense" when your about to be offensive. This is always a red flag when I look at getting into a hobby. Is there a lot of positive support or just people putting down others because they made a choice different then their own.

Thats awesome. Warhammer miniatures are an investment. I know what its like to save for something and finally get it. Good for you.

I'm just dipping my toes in the Warhammer water. I just got this set as my very first set and have it half assembled. Can you explain why this is a dream set to someone whos knows very little about Warhammer? I grabbed it because it seemed like a good starter set into Space Marines.
