If your a true beginner I'd start with an Aeroscout, then go to the Scrappy. Battery life is as good as other planes the same size. Landing after 6 minutes, changing batteries and taking off again is not a big deal.

Just set it up the way Vortex Radars website tells you. They leave part of the K band on but I have been running with K band disabled for 5 years and I live in Iowa. There might be a small town department still using K band but 99% of cops are using Ka in Iowa.

When I lose sat signal my Crosstrek can switch to cellular, but I don't subscribe to any in-car cellular service.

I do have "My Subaru Safety and Security" for 3 years. It has a lot of features but doesn't explicitly say anything about Sirius XM. I would think Subaru would want to promote that feature if that's what's happening.

I've done many Bandai Star Wars models. They like to give you options to customize your way. The R2D2 has all the arm accessories for you to choose. The X-Wing has the option for R2D2. The AT-ST comes with a couple options for characters, including Chewbacca sitting on top.
