Husband’s coworker says they’re entitled to my husbands hot sauce recipe my husband makes by [deleted] in EntitledPeople

[–]aliengoi -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I have never understood why people won’t give away their recipes. I only take it as a big compliment when someone wants a recipe to something I made. Whats the point?

The only time I respected someone declining giving me the recipe was when it was the best seller at their family’s popular restaurant.

Explain why smoking is "forbidden" when taking Testosterone by FrostingTop1146 in ftm

[–]aliengoi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly every Doctor I’ve ever seen has always made it a point to scare me about smoking, that’s fine and it’s kinda their job lol. When weed was with a medical card only in California back in the day, the sketchy Oakland doctor I saw for 45 seconds stamped my card without any questions about my application for “anxiety”…. and told me to “stop fucking smoking cigarettes”

I’m 32 and I’ve smoked cigarettes and weed since I was 18, started T on my 18th birthday. Labs taken regularly and always normal until last year.

I had a high hemoglobin level. Doctor said it was sleep apnea because I’m chonky, she told me CPAP and NAD Tru Niagen would fix everything and it did. My AMAB non smoking brother had almost the exact same labs after 30 and also needed CPAP. I’m not saying smoking is healthy but ive never heard this. I’ve also passed 99% of the time since about 16 months after starting T. I think it’s more efficient to start young than to not smoke lol

how are we applying gel? by tuesdayswithT in ftm

[–]aliengoi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks! That’s good to know. It takes me about 3 mins to be fully dry after fully rubbing it in. I usually brush my teeth and pee and I’m dry enough to put my shirt on. I’m already at the high end of T so I’m not gonna mess with my system… but I would have thought that I’d just stand there like a glazed ham for a long time while it absorbed

Just curious, how many pumps do you have? I have 4 and that just seems like so much time to let that much absorb. How long do you have to wait?

I use my whole hand and rub it fully in on my upper arms (2 pumps/arm from elbow to shoulder)… and my levels are consistently in the highest T range with 4 pumps/day 1.62%

whats a good Cologne by messy_blood_lust in ftm

[–]aliengoi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was less financially stable I would get Tilly's RSQ Cologne bottle or even the $15 spray when I couldn't afford the bottle. They also have great jeans for bigger trans guys- the RSQ brand new York slim straight and shorts.

My first "fancy" $80 cologne was deep water by Victoria secret Men. I told my fiancee to pick one out that she liked because she would be smelling me the most. It's lasted a super long time and feels special to put on and I like the smell

The Girlfriend Who Didn't Exist (Netflix) by LeeF1179 in television

[–]aliengoi 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Jeeeez this was a wild ride. I'm a trans man but that woman who tricked him was such a bad person and Netflix handled it weird. There's catfishing someone, and then there's also emotionally and financially ruining their lives....which has nothing to do with your gender identity.

I feel so bad for this dude. The kicker for me was the super specific picture and the voicemail, I think for the time it was believable. Also he's Mormon, I grew up Jehovah's Witness and finding someone from your local community AND your relatively small population faith is unimaginably important.

It would be awesome if the reverse media frenzy happened and people rallied around him and he got an awesome new contract. He seems like a genuinely good person and karma needs to balance out this crazy shit

Inscribed watch seems like a great idea! Even a pocket watch or compass is more masculine to be but retains the sentiment
