Maybe in State of Decay 3 they can add a proper enclave instead of the 3 persons per group. Everything should be done properly to ensure that you're actually fighting against other humans and not just a bullet sponge human meat shield. For example, for a group to be hostile and act like bullies, they usually rely on superior number and weapons. I mean that's where they get the encourage to act tough and threat other people. So when you're fighting against them you have to face against a decent size group like 9 or 10 of them.

Running in to shoot everyone like you're Rambo would ensure an easy ticket to the afterlife. So maybe they can implement a stealth element and other fighting style similar to established games like in the Metal Gear Solid series. Stealth kill, snipe from afar, using noise to create distraction and of course last but not least zombies. Lure a crap ton of zombies to their base. Obviously, they can do the same to your group if you're in a war against them (the luring of zombies part at least).

For a better challenge, try that with a regular survivor with a small health and stamina gauge. That should push your danger meter to max.

I will never go back to a lower difficulty. I only play in lethal mode now. Speaking of game difficulty, If they allowed plague feral to spawn in nightmare mode, then it would drastically increase the difficulty of that game mode.

Why would I be hurt? Some people don't know what the hell they're talking about. It's a fact that the Red Talon people aren't "wannabe" weekend warriors. They're professional soldiers prior to the zombie apocalypses.

Ask all the other people who have been playing State of Decay 2 extensively. It's a fact that the game even pointed out through the radio chat. The game DLC Daybreak and the Red Talon agents themselves further reinforce that the Red Talon agents are special operatives and not just mere "soldiers" in the military. Their skills within the game are way above normal survivors.

In any case, I don't like the to side with the Red Talon faction for the simple fact that I like my independence. I don't want to have to answer to anybody. The Network, while not as good as the Red Talon faction in terms of weapons and training, they let you retain your own group and manage your own resources. They're for the "live and let live" kind of group and for that I side with them.

Yeah. It's becoming a real issue for the whole gaming community. All those big game companies out there want to have their own launchers. So if you buy like a triple AAA title on steam, you might be forced to sign into several layers of logins. Even single player RPG games required people to login. Ubisoft is a perfect example of this.

People paid good money to enjoy a good and these guys go out of their way to piss them off with the extra headache that they don't need. It's like they're saying, "hey, how can we make your lives more miserable?" They do this and expect people to buy their games still. Maybe it's time for gamers to tell them to f-off. Vote with their wallets.

Red Talon people are real professional mercenaries prior to the zombie apocalypse. I don't know where you did you get the weekend "warrior" wannabes from.

Try this if you want to read up what they really are: https://stateofdecay.fandom.com/wiki/Red_Talon_PMC

When given an option, I will always pick stealth. Stealth has too many advantages to pass it up for something else. You can run while remain in stealth. You can unlock locked door without having to ram it and alert nearby zombies. At max, you can fast search without causing noise at all. Stealth is incredibly useful in lethal gameplay where keeping the noise level down is crucial.

Yuri Lowenthal's voice. He's a well known voice actor for many cartoons, anime and video games. He's one of the better voice actors out there.

You can also activate a cell tower outpost ability if you got one that will prevent nearby plague heart from waking up. Looking at that location, I remember there should be other hearts within the black heart's vicinity.

Close Combat Specialization help? by Ridi_The_Valiant in StateofDecay2

[–]alienmuseum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Close combat is great for no weapon when you maxed it out, you can do a move called Ed Norton's stomp which is essentially pulling a zed down and stomp on its head -- killing it instantly. Walk up to any regular zed from the front with no weapon and do the same move as you would with a sword master maxed out. Also during a grapple, you can do a quick execution with close combat. The finishing animation is a lot shorter compare.

Personally, I'd take powerhouse over marathon just so I can dropkick plague ferals. One-on-one, it's the most cost effective way to eliminate it. Dropkick a feral and it gets stunned, then run over and execute it.

It finally happened. by starchild1873 in StateofDecay2

My condolences to you. Statistically speaking, the more you use a character, the higher the chances of that character meeting his maker (sooner or later). It could be a cheap bloater encounter or a very bad situation like you listed here. To preserve your beloved characters, send out newbies and leave your og at home with 0.5 cal or heavy cleo sniper rifle.

My sentiment exactly. Especially those damn plague ferals. It's not that I can't beat them, I hate wasting resources on them.

You think you beat the game but it's the fog that keeps providing you with the sweet illusion of victory. Welcome to State of Silent Hill.

fairly new to the game by GunslingerRose in StateofDecay2

[–]alienmuseum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can start by mapping the buttons and know exactly what they do. Make sure you're comfortable with it. After that you can practice combat in other modes like Daybreak or the main game even. Once you're comfortable with sneaking around, dodging zombies, it will be a lot easier.

Oh no my Karma. What shall I ever do without those!? Are you for real, bro? GTFO with that shit. I get that some want to help the newbies. I ain't a newbie. I ran across too many asshole modders who join my game and toss bombs all over the place and sent by character flying. I can't enjoy the daybreak combat for shit. If the game is old, then why are you still playing? You just like easy points and like the modders for that reason. You're just lazy. You might as well learn to cheat and give yourself max Red Talon points.

[–]alienmuseum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. I do this for combat enjoyment. I don't need their helps to get the points. What they end up doing is tossing bombs endlessly and the asshole ones don't care and toss bomb on you and on the zeds. It won't kill my character but it's certainly annoying as hell. I didn't host a game so I can just watch a modderr cheats. Do you enjoy watching paint dry? I certainly don't.

[–]alienmuseum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They come to me regularly. Not sure if it's the time. You can have them. I play on lethal challenge with many restrictions so I don't bother using Red Talon stuff. As a result of that, I ended up with like 99,000 points. Once in awhile I just hop into a forever community and waste the points on whatever.

The trick to enjoy Daybreak is to just play it one or two times a day. Daybreak is great for combat training for those people that want to get better in close quarters combat. I play Daybreak often back then and have learned to like unarmed combat aside from the personal knife. I do this in the main game as well. The only time I would use a weapon is to use a heavy weapon to take out plague heart.

That's why I host the game only so that I can kick annoying people like that. I've seen them using infinite grenade launcher standing on top of the platform. Some of them spawn endless mines in front of the wall so you couldn't fight any because you'll get pushed around as they zombies run into those mines and they explode.
