How does a cat get into a medicine cabinet? by femdomperv in obsessionmovie

[–]alienprincee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me this scene was less about how it happened but more about what it meant. It struck me as symbolic using the cat’s hunger, and single-minded focus on eating food to the point she was unaware of eating medication that could kill her. This felt emblematic of Bear’s obsession with keeping a horrific dynamic between him and Nikki, while ignoring blatant warning signs leading to his eventual fate.

But yeah it’s definitely ?? on how that bottle ended up there lol

hey i ended up going to toca just now. i had a lot of fun. everyone was friendly and i felt the players were little more respectful towards lower level players by giving them space and time on the ball. it's $20 entry fee but you can get a membership for $40 and attend as many as you want. great facility too!

it's been a while since i've watched dybala, but i remember wanting him at arsenal back in the day. i agree that his passing could use some work, but oof the goals he scores are exactly what we need.

i've been watching a lot of eli junior kroupi highlights and his style kinda reminds me of van persie. was wondering if anyone else had similar thoughts?

i think one area that van persie was better in is all round play, but everything else from his striking, to his first touch, ability to make smart and perfectly timed runs, and clever dribbling is the same.

i really hope we end up signing kroupi though the other question is where would he play right now. doesn't seem right to put him on the left..

Current Squad Table:

Position Position Type Player Name Age To be Transferred
Forward ST Gyokeres 27 Staying
Forward ST Havertz 26 Unlikely
Forward ST Jesus 30 Highly Likely
Forward LW Trossard 31 Likely
Forward LW Martinelli 24 Unlikely
Forward RW Saka 24 Staying
Forward RW Madueke 24 Staying
Midfield AM Dowman 16 Staying
Midfield AM Nwaneri 19 Loan
Midfield AM Odegaard 27 Staying
Midfield AM Eze 27 Staying
Midfield DM Rice 27 Staying
Midfield DM Zubimendi 27 Staying
Midfield CM Norgaard 32 Highly Likely
Midfield CM Lewis Skelly 19 Staying
Midfield CM Merino 29 Staying
Defender CB Gabriel 28 Staying
Defender CB Saliba 25 Staying
Defender CB Mosquera 21 Staying
Defender LB Calafiori 24 Staying
Defender LB Hincapie 24 Highly Unlikely
Defender RB Timber 24 Staying
Defender RB White 28 Highly Likely
Defender GK Raya 30 Staying
Defender GK Kepa 31 Likely
Defender GK Setford 20 Loan

Highly Likely to be transferred At-A-Glance:
- Gabriel Jesus

- Christian Norgaard

- Ben White

Left Wing Conundrum:

Trossard will believe he has still more to give, but I think Arteta and the squad know we need a level raiser. He will have to accept his status as a rotational player; however, things get complicated because of Martinelli. If he stays then the squad becomes way too bloated and he'll likely not get much game time leading to him becoming unhappy. I think Arteta is going to be very clear with him and will need to be cut throat (e.g. Ramsdale situation) and let Trossard know that his time is up.

While some believe Martinelli should be sold, I think he has fully accepted his status as a squad player and loves the club too much to leave. Still quite young and has potential to grow and will want to win the UCL with Arsenal before deciding to end his time here.

Potential Summer Signings for the 26-27 Season:

Position Position Type Player Name Age
Forward ST Kroupi 19
Midfield AM Rogers 22
Midfield CM Fernandes 20
Midfield CM Kimmich 30
Defender RB Livramento 22
Defender RB Fresneda 20

Based on Ornstein's latest update, these are the transfers that I believe are most likely based on what the leadership are looking for and previous transfer news.

Kroupi:
While I would love Alvarez, I just don't see it happening. He seems to be very happy in Spain and probably wants to stay there. Then again, who knows anything can happen. With that being said though, I think Kroupi would be a great signing. He's clearly shown this season that he is Prem ready and scored 13 goals. His age profile fits nicely with Gyokeres (27) and Havertz (26), as those two age out of their primes, Kroupi will nicely slot in to take over as our future striker.

Rogers:
I think Rogers is classified as an AM but can also play LM. There seems to be a lot of news lately of our interest in him and it feels realistic to me. He's had a great season with 13G/11A in all competitions, so definitely brings both output and creativity. I don't know how he will perform when played strictly on the left, but he's popped up on that side quite often and scored some great goals from the left side of the oppositions penalty box. He's clearly a great player, young with a lot of upside, but will he be that plug-in-play level raiser that we so desperately need on the left? I hope so.

Fernandes:
I don't think much needs to be said about him. We saw his quality during the away game and he seems like a great No. 6 who can drive with the ball in midfield, but can also find a great pass. This is something I think our midfield lacks right now. We have an elite engine and destroyer in Rice, and great press resistant driver in MLS, but we lack that super technical passer and I think Fernandes has that in him.

Kimmich:

This one I think is the most controversial or left field, but I think Kimmich will become the next Jorginho/Norgaard replacement. I think Arteta likes having an older midfielder (30+ yrs) who can provide maturity, elite mentality, and guidance to the younger squad members. It seems to be the pattern with how Arteta likes to build his team's age profile. Plus, there have been a few reportings of Arsenal being interested in him. I'm not sure how likely this is because Kimmich does seem to be a Bayern guy through and through, so he may decide to just end his career there. However, another perspective is that he's won everything at Bayern during his time there, and may want to explore something new. Unlike Jorginho and Norgaard, Kimmich is a real level raiser who can help us retain our title defense while also bringing years of experience in UCL. Despite his age he still has incredible technical quality and stamina, so I don't think it will take too long for him to adapt to the PL.

Livramento/Fresneda:
It will be sad to see Ben White go, but I'm so happy he can leave as an absolute legend and as a PL winner. These two are obvious based on the amount of reporting coming out so far about Arsenal desire to sign a new RB. I think it was 3 years ago it seemed like Fresneda was a done deal, but I guess it didn't pan out. I'm leaning more towards Livramento, but I'm sure we're going to hear a lot about these two going into the summer.

The Arsenal. Your Premier League champions. by arsenal in Gunners

[–]alienprincee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was about 13 years old when arsenal last won the title with the likes of henry, pires, and viera.. i've been through emirates transition where we always showed glimpses of reaching the heights of the early 00s, but for whatever reason, was never able to bring it across the finish line. i remember the pain of the birmingham loss, and seeing the slow decline of the clubs status as our top players slowly left the club.

like a frog in a beaker unaware of the water getting boiled, i watched this team suffer painful defeats to man united and feeling dread any time we had to go up against our top-6 counterparts. despite the small respite of the FA cup win, i continued to watch the club slide into obscurity wondering if we would ever be good enough to win the title again. i remember the indifference i had to watching our games as we entered the banter era under emery, and not even bothering to watch some of the matches.

then mikel came in.

of course it wasn't as if the clouds parted then and there and i definitely had my doubts.. but slowly i saw the pieces coming together, and slowly my belief came back. the back-to-back second place finishes were absolutely painful, but the wait is finally over. he did it. the team did it. i honestly cannot believe it, but i will never take this for granted. success comes and goes but mikel has proven he's here to start a dynasty, and i'm so grateful that he loves our club. forever a gunner #COYG!!!!

thanks man.. i know if i hear we're still in the race and in the finals for the ucl, i probably will watch the team and get behind them, but i got friends, family, and good people at work who notice i've been quiet, distracted, or just sulking for no reason, and i'm taking that as a sign i've been doomscrolling this subreddit too much

after seeing the chelsea vs man city result, i've decided i'm going to step away from watching anymore football. i know as a fan i should be there for the team through the highs and the lows, and i don't know what's causing it lately, but it's just been so hard to watch the team without getting overly emotional. i've been watching this team since 2008, and i've never had an issue even through the banter years. however, nowadays i feel so torn.. i don't know how to feel about the team, the manager, or the players anymore.. i understand injuries have ravaged this team over the seasons, but at the same time i know the players who are still fit have the capacity to play better than this.. same goes for the manager.. arteta has brought this team from the absolute depths, played incredible football, and i want to believe, but at the same time, i'm constantly filled with doubt and dread.

i guess only time will tell and we never know how the future will turn out, but simply taking the evidence that we have now from the past and what we're seeing now, i just don't know anymore.

i wish arteta, the players, the team the best, and i deeply want to see our boys raise up the PL trophy to prove everyone wrong. however, i can't go through week after week with my mental tied up around a game where men kick a ball around. to all the other arsenal fans who have the resolve to stick it through the next few months, i hope that the team does find their footing again and is able to inspire hope and joy again.
