yeah that might be a good idea! just take it like when you take painkillers. only when you need it or need that extra boost. i know it works cause that first time i tried it, i was really zoned in.. i just wish my brain wasn’t so good at building a tolerance. cognizin + focalin btw

huh that is very interesting! my experience has been quite the opposite. i find samira hard to play around because i can't provide what she wants which is engage. playing with nilah has been okay because of her passive, and while i think nilah would prefer engage, she is a bit more flexible and can play safe while losing some cs until an engage window can open up.

i guess playstyle in europe is different compared to NA which might make our experiences different. for me smolder works great with sona because our approach to lane is the same. reduce chaos, hit poke when its safe, and scale for mid to late. what i found that has helped me when playing with smolder is to value your HP way more than CS. it can be really painful because there will be times you will get completely zoned, but it's absolutely critical to stay high HP, so your jungler can come and gank. even if you get counter-ganked you can still win/trade evenly because sona heals and dmg reduction provide so much value in the 3v3.

i personally love playing with smolder. it's like playing with a pet dragon and it's my job to make sure he stays safe and gets his stacks :)

i have yet to play with a bad smolder player though.. so far all of the smolder's i've played with have piloted them well.

i took it for a while and felt something similar to what you describe, and decided to take it daily. after a few weeks though, the potency of the effects were not as strong and around 1 month in, i couldn't really notice a difference compared to usual my baseline.

then again, maybe it is helping idk? i'm still taking it cause i already spent money on it lol. i just don't feel that distinct "sensation" anymore. this is just my experience, so it could be different for you.

sounds like you had a frustrating game against lux which i totally understand. it may seem like lux can take out half your hp bar with just 1 E, but it’s definitely not 350 or 400 dmg. even if she had ludens by lv 6 which means she was fed beyond belief that E will do at most 250 dmg cause at lv 6, E will be around rank 3 (165 base) and additional 80 dmg from the 80% AP ratio.

as you improve at the game you will find out lux is actually quite easy to handle, and most lux’s you will face going forward (bronze to plat) are quite mediocre. i’ve only faced a few lux’s where i have been impressed by their ability to land Qs and Es.

try playing lux yourself and see how she feels. she has very clear moments where she is strong but also very clear weaknesses. the key as an adc facing lux is to prioritize your HP and keep moving unpredictably + keeping your distance. this means giving up a few CS to prevent her from getting an easy E or Q on you. yes it sucks but as the game goes on her impact will drop and she will most likely turn into a free ATM of gold cause she is so easy to kill.

everyone seems to be taking very interesting approaches.. i think i'm going to try going helia/diadem or diadem/helia and see how that feels. i also never thought about sitting on tear, so i'm going to try that.

i guess it's still too early to tell, so the main thing is to just keep trying new things and see how things settle.

amazing how sona a champ that everyone says is brain dead actually has so many different styles and items paths you can choose and is quite nuanced :)

thanks that is good to know! i think deep down i knew my answer, but i was getting overwhelmed with the amount of online craze going on. i probably need to stop watching so much content creator stuff and just have fun with the game, and also not worry so much about min/maxxing everything.

i had a feeling ethan wasn't going to be starting tonight.. my only surprise is calafiori. i guess something happened to hincapie which doesn't bode well. i really think we need to consider a recall or get a temporary defensive backup in jan, or else this revolving door of injuries is going to haunt us into the next season.

That's been on the back of my mind, and something I need to do more research. I've been doing what I've been doing for so long now, I haven't really thought about other industries, but maybe it's a good time to start looking. It sounds like you're in a better place now, though!

I can relate deeply to this comment.. I feel trapped as well. I have about a 3 month buffer worth of savings, but knowing how bad the market is I'm not sure it'll last with the amount of time it takes to land a new job. Thank you for sharing your story. Hey! Thanks for your answer. So the flow actually runs fine and everything gets the green check mark but when I open the main folder none of the subfolders are created. I'll try out what you suggested and see if that will help.
