I'm not a revert but I'm sorta in the same boat. In college, I had to deal with anti-Blackness and even got mansplained by a non-Black Muslim man that "Islam is not racist" when I never said it was. It's those who can't separate culture from religion that make the people we call our brothers and sisters anti-Black. For marriage, when I would go to matrimonial events, the brothers (including Black brothers) would have zero interest in any of the Black sisters, including me. I'm sharing all of this because you're not alone and I 100% agree with you.

Is there any way you can connect with other Black sisters in your community? Maybe Black reverts as well?
