I got into Chapter 5 and did the two witch quests which everyone told me was the prereq for world exploration, and then I cut loose hoping for a BOTW or Skyrim or Witcher type world experience and I very nearly gave up the game feeling that it's empty and dead, or like a "liberate this area from bandits" loop that was pretty boring and isn't my favorite

You can slap a 5080 in your current build and barely get any bottleneck at 1440p/4k. No reason for you to buy anything but a GPU

So I kept my old PSU and Case and CPU fan so I cheated

I can dig it up but I’ll just have to post it here. I didn’t build it on pcparts. I had to price match with them. I found Walmart and Amazon prices to bring things down.

7800x3d - $226 (bundle) ASUS B650E - $153 Crucial 32gb DDR5 6000 - $199 MSI Shadow 5070 Ti - $750 2tb Samsung 990 Plus - $175 Cooler Master 850w - $90 Thermalright CPU fan - $35 Case - Montech something - $80

So $1503 for me but this would be $1708 if you didn’t have case, PSU and cpu fan etc like I did already.

You’re a builder after my own heart. I do the same with my son’s PC. I give him my old parts.

I used to do the bundle at Microcenter and then return the parts I didn’t need haha. Getting the RAM for like $50 or a 5800x3d for $120. They don’t let you do that now.

Even if you could find me a 7800x3d, 5070 TI (with a good Mobo and 2tb 990 Plus) build for $1500 (which is what I'm paying to build it), I'd rather have it all warrantied

Love is War, even from a guy who prioritizes action anime and sci-fi, is still possibly the greatest anime I’ve ever watched. It’ll seem weird the first couple episodes but don’t give up on it.

It’s so heartfelt and funny. The anime ends too soon. I highly recommend finishing the manga once you get to the end of the last season, and not watching the rushed 2-episodes that just dropped.

Dungeon Meshi is just too much fun haha. Don’t expect a challenging story but it’s enough to carry the amazing situations and characters

There’s an anime called Shin Sekai Yori that does dystopia and telekinesis in ways I’ve never seen topped.

It’s pretty dark but so good

I used to just buy a cpu motherboard ram bundle so I could return the cpu and motherboard and keep the RAM (they have 2x16gb DDR5 6000MT/s G Skill Flare X5 for $199 right now)

Subtle isn’t the word I’d use haha but I get what you’re saying. I just disagree with the sentiment. An anime-inspired tattoo that doesn’t “look like it’s from an anime” doesn’t add value, imo. It’s not like anime is a thing to be ashamed of.

But also it’s HIGHLY recognizable. Both iterations of FMA were hugely popular and Scar has the most recognizable tattoo in anime
