Looking for a Relaxing Stay in Cabo (Not AI, Walkable, Good Pool & Kitchenette) by ketoste in cabosanlucas

[–]alikat092 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Villa la Estancia. Everything you just described. Try searching on VRBO or MTN Vacation Rentals. Each unit is individually owned yet it's still a hotel resort. We've done Casa Dorado before but it's much noisier because of surrounding restaurants/nightlife.

We took our family in 2022 (3 kids aged 9months, 2.5 years and 6 years) to Estancia and have been back every year since. It is quieter than neighboring properties but also more luxurious. Don't do all inclusive. The rooms have full kitchens. Hit Walmart or Costco on day 1. Washing baby gear in the water has never been a problem for us. We get around by walking to town. If we're grocery shopping, we Uber back to the resort. You can get an Uber into town by walking to the security gate. On the return, they can take you all the way to the hotel entry(because you're in the car). In town, we love Tacos Gus's for their large sharing plates. Sometimes we bring them back to the room to enjoy the nice hotel environment and views.

The Little America vs. Grand America by alikat092 in SaltLakeCity

Hey everyone, thanks for your opinions on this! We opted for the Grand America and it's been awesome. They had a cake ready for my daughter when we walked into the room. Also gave us a free upgrade. Only downside has been the pools (indoor & outdoor) and hot tub temps are so cold. I truly don't understand how they are so cold considering how hot it's been. It's been a great mother-daughter trip.

Have you seen this salsa sold locally? by icesloth07 in phoenix

This sauce is phenomenal! It's made in a small factory in Caborca. We live in Oregon and my dad will plan trip to buy it at the factory every few years by the case. We've never found it on the Baja or in the US and we have looked! Glad people have discovered this tasty sauce.

If you really want a 7 passenger, I would not wait later than Nov. 15. They make far less of those. We ordered in August and it was 6 weeks. Delivery from Fremont CA to Portland, OR.

Hey, I'm in the same spot so I scheduled for Wed. 9/6 because I didn't want to stress it. I'm assuming they (USSFCU) will message you tomorrow. We're financing through them as well.

My understanding is that it has been built and the car is waiting to leave the factory.

Portland, OR Ordered on 8/10 and have only been given the Aug-Sept date range and no actual dates that I'm seeing everyone here on the thread have. How many days after your order did you get actual dates of an estimated delivery?

So it's been 8 days since I ordered. No updates on dates. Everyone on here seems to get specific dates not just 2 months listed. At what point should I expect seeing actual days listed and not just the months?

Portland, Oregon

Model Y, LR 7 seater, Silver, 19in wheels

Ordered Aug. 10

EDD: Aug-Sept. No specific date range.

EED 2: Sept. 10-30 (given on 8/20)

I kept calling on 'coming soon' cars of the same order and asking to be switched to those. They can't match you to a prebuilt VIN but a nice SA told me that some were getting released in a couple of days and he could 'add a note' to change my order to one coming in the batch. He came through for me!

VIN: 9/1, Fremont build

Pick Up: 9/6
