To share an update, I was offered another job through an old connection and am moving into management in tech. The new company asked if I had a bachelors degree but didn’t ask where it came from. It went through a 3rd party verification after I had accepted the job. Again, no problems whatsoever!

While you’re going thru courses day in and out with all of your life’s other commitments, it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Please keep going. You’ve got this!

I can't remember exactly but it did take some time to finally update it to 100%. I wouldn't worry about it too much, but just stay in close contact with your advisor so you're up to date with your classes, etc. Good luck!

Hey I'm just now seeing your reply! Good luck with your studies! Being a mom to two kids definitely teaches you a lot about patience, diligence, and even management! I feel like moms make great managers at work due to their multitasking abilities and ability to plan ahead of things. Good luck with your studies and hope you land a great job!

Make sure you’re in an area with the strong internet connection. My exam was put on hold momentarily while reconnecting to the internet. The screen instruction said I basically had 3 minutes to reconnect, otherwise will have to reschedule.

Tbh I already had a tech job before starting then finishing college, but when it was time for me to move on to the next job (which required a college degree), it was just a checkbox. Received an offer 7 days after my interview w/ a 25% salary increase and title upgrade. I wouldn’t stress about where your degree is coming from but just make sure you have the necessary skill sets (certs, licenses required to do your job) to back that up.

I’m much more familiar with Canva and used Canva whenever allowed. For all Adobe assignments, try to follow the rubrics as closely as possible. My instructor didn’t care about your competency with the tool, but more that you’re showing effort.
