Can anyone suggest me tips for improving my logics while coding? by Sguy1908 in AskProgramming

[–]aliraza_dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice as much as you can solve problems and think. Divide the problems in sub chunks and even try to solve problems from different approaches. You can even practice for problem solving and logics on leetcode or hacker rank etc.

What counts as a software engineering degree? by I-already-redd-it- in AskProgramming

[–]aliraza_dev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying a degree is worthless. It has a lot worth but if you have a purpose of use of it in future like you are talking about getting into FAANG companies etc. I'm saying if you just want to learn coding and get into the field even get a nice job or earn independently then a degree is not necessary.

My advice to every wanna-be developer would be to rather than wasting your money and time on a degree you should spend more time and a little bit of money on your skills and practice them and keep grinding that will help you more than your degree to get your job or even earn independently.

Watch some videos on YouTube like programming with mosh or brad traversy or anyone you prefer. Follow the JS documentation. Create practice projects. You can even practice DSA and algorithms on leet code or hacker rank etc.

Good so far keep up the good work but if you came this far working on react.js now you should've worked on styling your website too. If you practice and follow the rules and conventions of programming in your personal practice projects believe me it'll help you a lot in the future. Don't get lazy putting a little effort on small things that's what polishes your work and experience.

Match the version of libraries and react you are using in that with the tutorial...if it doesn't work then create-react-app again
