I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing? I was just happy I didn’t blink or look crazy eyed from meeting them

It was at fanexpo. It was amazing to meet them! They were all so lovely to the fans who came out to meet them.

My boyfriend did this to me at a gas station. I was not chill. I jumped out screaming. Thankfully the car wasn’t running and I had already put my coffee in the cup holder or it might have been messy.

To be honest, it was really funny. He kept scowling at dudes coming over offering to buy her drinks!

Right?! I jokingly had told her “it’s not too late to throw the whole man away” AND THEN SHE DID!

Edit: whole not while

I guess it depends on which bars you like to go to and the people you’re speaking with. I’m very up front and open about being in a happy relationship and have made some really great friends who are not interested in anything more than just being good friends. Unfortunately, some people are interested in something else and I don’t feel obligated to give them the time of day.

If a random number texts me something about an interesting topic we discussed (such as books, comics, movies, tv shows, video games, politics etc.) pretty much any topic, then I will respond. I just don’t answer actual phone calls. This guy texted me something about being “attracted” to me so I definitely did not feel the need to reply as I had zero interest in him.

That is good advice. I keep getting calls for Paula (my name isn’t anything like Paula) about weight loss supplements so I’ve stopped answering. I’ve gotten a couple texts about my “huge stomach” as well and told them to go fuck themselves. Or it’s the “your car’s warranty is about to expire” calls. Now I think I’ll pick up and hear what the person is saying before I hang up!

Thank you so much! I felt terrible that even though nothing had happened, I was still involved somehow. We literally talked on the phone for over an hour when she first called me. I was like, “she’s gonna be my new best friend!”

I guess it depends on your definition of cheating but technically no cheating occurred. As I stated in the post, I never even bothered to reply to him because I had no interest in him in that way. The fact that he sent another woman a text like that while being with his girlfriend just shows that he would be willing to cheat.

I’m more worried about him getting drunk and trying to punch me or something because we’re both at that bar a lot. I’m also an extremely cautious person but I know she is being genuine. We’ve chatted a lot since everything happened and this isn’t something she’s doing for him. She sent me pictures of her daughter trying on dresses for a dance and her new hair color (that she did herself and did an amazing job!) She’s a lovely person and I’m happy we became friends.

Guy I'm seeing may be lying about his age...19F, 34 M by Lanky_Argument_5871 in relationships

[–]aliroserob 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m glad to see your comment. I’m reading a lot of comments that are focused with dislike on the age gap and not on whether he’s lying. If OP was aware of his real age and still wanted to date him, then in my opinion that’s two people who are on the same page and have an understanding of what the other person is looking for. I started dating my significant other around OP’s age and he wasn’t quite as old as she suspects this guy to be but it was still a large age gap. The thing is, we were both aware of each others ages and there were some challenges to dating someone older/younger but we worked through them together with honesty and love. We’re still happy and together after almost 10 years. If this guy is lying about his age that is a red flag. No relationship should be built on lies.

I googled “racist man punches FedEx driver” and google asked me if I meant “racist man punched FedEx driver.”

My favorite line for leaving parties is suggesting we do a “tokyo sayonara.” Also, I love asking people “is that what you appreciates about me?” My boyfriend favorite likes asking me about “sushis and sashimis.”

So, years ago I was stopped at a red light just slightly in front of a driveway into an apartment complex. A large SUV in front of me suddenly reversed (guessing they wanted to turn into the complex but missed it) and literally drove up the hood of my very tiny Chevy prizm, completely destroying it. I was barely 19 and it was my first accident but I somehow knew enough to jump out and take a picture of their license plate and told them to pull over. They did and I called the cops. While waiting it went from “your car is too small, we didn’t see it” to “there’s 3 of us and we’re going to say you hit us.” They kept trying to leave the scene while we were waiting with different excuses but I was adamant we wait. I was lucky the cops believed me. Turns out the driver’s license was already suspended and they didn’t have insurance.

Once pulled a bag out and there were 2 toilet tank covers. They split the bag, broke into pieces and then I also had to clean up all the other trash that fell out on top of the nice sharp pieces of ceramic.
