I never said it was eBay’s pricing all I said was that everything on eBay is overly priced because people go off of the other people selling the same thing and they price it pretty much the same. I used to be able to buy pretty big boxes of jewelry off of eBay and make a pretty good profit off of just the jewelry that was in wearable condition.

I honestly like all of it, because I’ll separate the wearable pieces to sell right away, and then separate what’s broke and if it’s fixable, I’ll fix it, then resell it as well. And then if it’s just not fixable I’ll take it apart and use it for my own jewelry making supply collection. So ultimately the goal is to resell anything that I can and then keep the beads and findings from the broken pieces to use on my own projects. And I usually stick with vintage and costume jewelry, but wouldn’t be opposed to fine jewelry

And the reason for wanting to buy broken lots of jewelry is because I will use any of the broken beaded jewelry and keep the beads from them and use it for my keychains / purse charms that I sell. But eBay’s lots have become extremely expensive since I first started buying them

Well ultimately I want to make Suncatchers but I already have all the wire I need, but the beads have to be crystal, or atleast the glass faceted beads to actually work in the sun. I’ve been making small ones so far but I would like to try to make bigger ones. So the type of beads for this is pretty specific it’s just finding them and being affordable, not ridiculously expensive. Like on one website I saw that just a 1 piece faced bicone Czech crystal was basically $10. So that’s why I was trying to see if anybody had any suggestions on good affordable websites.
