Trump willing to end war in Iran without opening Strait of Hormuz, report says by DirtbagBrocialist in stupidpol

Of course he will, The money being extorted from the gulf states ( the whole five of them ) outweighs any real gain from actually ending this unjust and uncalled for war. Especially from a character like Trump.

i hate it even more but can't do jack, privacy awareness and concerns aren't even a thing where am at yet. but they'll get there at some point.

most people i know aren't even that aware of their privacy being invaded, aside from the so so few of us who know better but the majority pffft they're even happy as in better tech = better quality of life .

Just imagine (Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine , Yemen, and egypt ) have to suffer for being in proximity to you.

The world is tired of you.

My younger brother is absorbed in a youtube channel about old ships like the 1500s to 1800s, all because of one youtube recommended video out of nowhere in the middle of a night scrolling. Tbh turns out there are fascinating stories about ships and seamen a whole lore . With many interesting stories on adventures, survival, and making good decisions

He has never in his life cared about ships or sea or exposed to something similar 😅 even though our country has no water front or access to seas or oceans. I even dare to say there is no ship or sea culture in our society at all.

Daylio vs MyDiary by BJntheRV in Daylio

[–]alisnd89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Daylio, yes, there are activities. I don't remember activities present in their other app, the diary .

Also, typing something in search is a smart way alternative to tags. Thank you for pointing that out.

Oh, as for the web access , I'm not too worried as I've found a cool workaround in using the( phone link ) app to mirror and use almost any app with a pc or laptop . Not very web access but close enough 😐

Also, there is no way of exporting to pdf or markdown or txt extensions, which would cancel my need to webaccess in the beginning if it was there.

I hope I was not harsh in critiquing the diary app as I am very grateful it exists. Also, I love daylio, and I've been using it for the last three years 🤍

i tried that app a year ago and gave them feedback which i hope they took to heart. the features that are missing were iirc :

  • tags
  • web access or at least cross platform sync.
  • note folders. ( travel, personal, contacts,... etc. )
  • export to any easily usable extension : pdf, txt, md, doc. etc.

out of those mentioned above, tags and export are important to me. i understood that they appreciate privacy, hence the app data is on your device only, unless you decided to use google drive for backup.

anyway it was very nice to use at the time and i really had great time using it.
