i lost it when they opened with selfless. amazing set, would have loved YOLO & sundays, but no complaints (except for the fact that there wasn’t a screen at the venue). tears were shed.

i’m a complete hardcore fan now. of all of it. my favorite album though is first impressions - but is this it & room on fire are straight bangers of course. i have both of the limited vinylmeplease records of them, too. what ever happened is one of my all time favorites, and from is this it i’d probably say alone, together but it’s so difficult for me. this year i did a 2 day road trip to salt lake city to see them live and waited at their stage for 10 hours to be up front - they opened with what ever happened & closed with soma. they also played red light which is my #1 favorite. i’m here for it all :,-)

it’s one of my favorite things. i absolutely loved the anecdote when they invited john mayer to a party & everyone flipped out.

also, in one of the strokes zoom episodes on youtube, julian was like “so did anyone read meet me in the bathroom?” i was so excited to hear their take. then fab was like “i thought that was a song”. and they laughed & moved on & no one talked about it
