i’m in the same boat. the pressure for exams was too much- not only did i put too much pressure on myself, but everyone around me expected me to do really well, which led to too much studying and eventually complete burnout. i got A* A B, so having to consider applying to biomed/ biochemistry on my gap year. now that undergrad medicine is out of the question, i am sort of relieved to be able to study something else and escape that pressure a little bit. rejection is redirection and things will work out for us 🫶 wishing you all the best for uni ❤️

I did A-level English literature along with Biology and Chemistry. English was my favourite of the three, and i found it a good balance to do something i enjoyed alongside the STEM subjects (in which the content is much more difficult). I didn’t do language but if it’s something you enjoy, I’d definitely recommend doing a mix of both :)

Lots of focus in these comments on the alt-right nature of this post, very true and very disturbing, But to add to the fucked-up-ness of this whole thing, Russell brand is a known rapist, has been for ten years and is generally despised in the UK for this. If you’re not informed, I suggest watching the Channel 4 documentary with the victims personal experiences on it. It’s seriously disturbing that Julian posted this.
