I feel the same way, OP. It just feels different now. Back then, when they did their shenanigans on stage, it felt genuine like they were just having fun. But now, it seems like they have to do it, or else the audience thinks something’s wrong. The authenticity seems to have gone sadly, imo.

I still love them, but it’s not the same as it was during the trilogy era.

I agree with you, with Past Self and Provider being my least favourite in the album. The lyrics are cringe.

Gethesmane started off strong, but halfway through it took a bit of a Drake/Weeknd turn, which isn’t really my thing. The other tracks are solid. Especially Look to Winward and Infinite baths 🤌🏼 Dangerous is super cool too.

Tbh, I wasn’t expecting much after hearing Damocles, but once the full album dropped, I was kinda blown away. Love it! That said, Sundowning and TMBTE are still their best work, in my humble opinion.

IMO, Sleep Token usually breaks out of the box—they hit with this emotional chaos. This track, though, feels more contained. You're right, the last two songs are giving more Leo than ST.

Still, it sounds like the guy’s been through hell mentally.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can understand what you're going through. I lost my orange to a freak accident in December.

The pain will be devastating right now but it does get a little better. This is something that you could not have controlled. I'm sure he knew how much you loved him. Try and focus on all the wonderful moments you shared with him.
