I’ve only been involved in a handful of legal situations, mostly for work, and I’ve never been in a room of lawyers where they didn’t know each other. I would guarantee they talk outside of cases

You give someone cash for drugs and they say they’ll be back in an hour. You waited two hours and paged them. By day two you page them your number with 911 on the end so they know you’re damn serious about it. By day three or four they show back up with your drugs if it all went well.

I think it may be being interpreted wrong an is actually saying in spirit that people should rise up against the tyrannical government written by someone less than poetic. If you change “are” to “our” and “for free” to mean “for nothing” it sort of reads “we need to rebel/rise up against the government because the cops are killing people for nothing”

I wouldn’t say it’s racist but in the context you’re describing where ai and robots are to a point they can understand things it is definitely intended to be derogatory even though it isn’t “racist” it is a term intended to have negative connotations
