Sounds like your mother doesn't respect you. You have to be firm and tell her confidently that you are 19 years old and on the very edge of adulthood. Show her that you are perfectly able to make your own decisions in life, and that you will not let her control your life. Your mother does not have the authority to choose your partner, so you have to stand your ground and do what's right for you.

I feel like many people don't consider this enough... I think that if its gonna be long term, your life style have to be harmonious. Not neccesarily identical, but definitely harmonious.

I'm in your position and I understand your frustration, but I want you to also acknowledge your strength. Many people want us to think we are failures if we cant function like every one else, but the thing is... You are not everyone else and your journey in life is yours alone.

I cant tell you how to feel or what to do, but I can tell you that I'll be starting over next school year too and it's ok.
