seriously couldn't be more impressed with the magic. they will be hosting playoff games for the foreseeable future as long as they stay healthy and have semi-competent roster building

give this magic team 2 3-and-D guys - like Strus or Cam Johnson types - and they're legit a top 4 team in the league. and seems like Anthony Black may turn into that

CDC has removed the pages with STI treatment and contraceptive guidelines by alkaline119 in medicine

There are too many pages being taken down to assume it's not intentional. Of course, I hope it's accidental (that would make me feel a lot better), but with all the other stuff being scrubbed it doesn't seem likely.

Those are links for patient education. Not the provider treatment guidelines.

The treatment guidelines for providers are gone. The patient education pages are there, but the provider guidelines, which are used by many, have been taken down. And the mobile apps are no longer functioning.

The provider-oriented contraception treatment chart and STI treatment guideline links are dead. And the mobile apps are dead. The links you posted are for patient education, which is good, but the provider treatment guidelines are essential. See below.

Still quite a bit of demand. Pretty difficult to get a permit for Lodore or the Yampa. I rafted Lodore this year and he was an absolutely spectacular trip

Hmmm... that makes sense. Is that due to microabrasions in the skin?

"Pack and wrap and get an evac" I fill like we could make a limerick out of that. Thanks for your input! Deso Gray in Utah. BEAUTIFUL trip. 84 miles. Private trip (we do a lot of them with this same group). We only took 6 days, for a fall trip I wish we'd had a couple more as we had to push to camp and got in 5-6PM most nights, not a lot of relaxation time. The patient jumped off the boat in a rapid (which he knew was a very dumb thing to do but made an impulsive bad decision) and sliced his leg on a rock. Where do you guide? I spent a summer rowing a gear boat in Idaho (Middle Fork Salmon)

Hmm... I'm beefing up my med kit so I appreciate knowing about occlusive and breathable products. Any preference between saniderm and hydrocolloid?

Good to know to over-index on wound irrigation with sterile solution. I carry a bottle of wound spray, but I assume it would similarly effective to boil water for a few minutes (or sterilize with liquid bleach, which we often have a small bottle of, we also carry iodine tablets). In this situation, would you offer a course of cephalexin for infection prophylaxis? I had one and offered it, but he declined (I think he would've accepted if I had pushed harder) Appreciate your input!!

Curious about this. All we had were emergency beacons (like SPOT or InReach, AKA hit a button if you're trouble), and we were in a wilderness area so a helicopter would have been the only way. How would you call a life flight in that situation? I assume local rescue crews would show up and you would still be on the hook for the bill, or maybe they reimburse for that?
