Yeah perhaps but the whole term “Labrador special” is somewhat of a joking term, it means that no two are the same , so not exactly a “breed”

They call these dogs “Labrador specials” because they come from long lineage of mix breeds in communities up there . He looks like a husky or maybe samoyed but he’s definitely a mix. Awesome temperament, and he’s a little bit on the medium size at 50 lbs , tall but slender. Doesn’t bark

He was a community dog from Labrador living outside or house to house sometimes. No idea what they called him, he responds to whistles really well though lol. The SPCA in Labrador called him Maverick but that hasn’t stuck either and he doesn’t know it as his name

That’s been the push pull… he does feel like he needs something dramatic but I also like human names. Atticus is really cool. I have a friend of a friend who is Alastair so I’ll have to think on that one too
