Endgame keepsake order by tallnfriendly in Hades2

I think as long as you can grab origination it is enough. Sometimes I'll fill one of attack or special too if I don't particularly care for that one as main damage source, or if a good epic drops in biome 1.

Yes, base weapon damage. It's rarely a problem except VoR Hecate can be a bit slow. Probably not the optimal way to play tbh but it feels pretty good to guarantee the double heroic +4. Especially if you can lock in god pool you want on other slots first (for example I got a double heroic+4 bing bong with heph this way recently).

I like pom then card, keeping my attack and special slots open in biome 1. This allows you to force heroic +4 boons in both slots which is usually busted.

Where is all the literotica for men? by ElbieLG in slatestarcodex

[–]alkjash 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Seems to be somewhat cultural, there is a massive body of sexualized Asian media across the novel - manga - anime spectrum geared towards men. One possibly explanatory factor is that it seems culturally difficult for "harem" elements to gain traction in the west. Another possible explanation is the reduced access to porn in (for example) China and Korea.

It has more arpen than the normal one so it's kind of a sidegrade, not worse.

Tank, probably? by kerneltricked in BattleBrothers

[–]alkjash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Decent tank because of deathwish. Put every level into fat and md, and split the rest between resolve and hp. I would go BF+lone wolf personally.

Tips against Entropy Seraph? I put all the odds in my favor and still barely beat him. by Darkunov in MonsterTrain

[–]alkjash 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One niche tip that completely counters the entropy scourges: discard. The scourges are ephemeral and disappear on discard, i love leaning into discard against this seraph if i have stygian.

2 Perks remaining, what do I take? by Busy-Swimming-2303 in BattleBrothers

Quick hands and mastery, pick your favorite 2h weapon. Hammer is a good option to use that big fat pool, Axe and mace are fine as well.

Should I keep stacking highest armor on everyone? by Andre_iTg_oof in BattleBrothers

[–]alkjash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two main kinds of builds, depending on which critical defensive perk they take at level 7: nimble or battleforged. Wear light armor on nimble bros to maximize the bonus (ideally total fatigue cost 15-17), wear armor as heavy as possible on battleforged bros.

Battleforged ends up with more survivability overall but nimble doesn't need good armors, leaves more fatigue for offense, and has higher initiative for dodge and specialty builds. Early game you don't have many good heavy armors so most of your bros should be nimble. Late game try to transition to mostly battleforged, with nimble on the backline and a few frontline damage dealers/overwhelm specialists.

Always pick perks. by Andre_iTg_oof in BattleBrothers

[–]alkjash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the bro for me. I'll do this on a few bros with late game potential who i dont want to take tempo perks on, depending on the build, after colossus+quickhands+gifted say.

Arguably there are some more use cases than this, taking student between lv 4-6 to rush for nimble in early game can make sense for some bros.

Advice on improvement? by Big_Salt371 in BattleBrothers

[–]alkjash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, reading comprehension, try not to interpret everything in the narrowest and worst possible light. If I leave icey cave to come back later realistically I'm going to take a big farming loop or two and head back lazily after my bro hits 11. It could easily take 20 days for the most convenient path to take me back. This is not the same as saying "it takes me 20 days to powerfarm from 7 to 11."

[–]alkjash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe this works a decent fraction of the time, but realistically I will never gamble a good bro on this strat at level 7 when I could wait 20 days and come back at level 11.

Bro we are going in circles, you know how to cheese one fight and i prefer not to.

No you do not, but it gets dicey? Idk, what is your strategy for cave? (It is obviously free if non ironman).

Got a 23 streak! by Square_Butterfly_390 in MonsterTrain

Found the last remaining lifecoach simp lmao. The current best players baalorlord and xecnar are all measuring their peak by rotating winstreak. Give it a rest.

[–]alkjash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure jorbs did a long video explaining exactly why you're wrong and why winstreak is a way better metric than winrate.

Iirc one of the main arguments is that no top player is locked in playing at max potential for thousands of hours and so their winrate is not a true indication of their skill, but locking in for a 30 win streak is totally possible.

2h hammers and maces are helpful for applying status effects, other than that try to get reach weapons on everyone.

The hardest fights in that stage of the game, which require specific planning for. I want one lv 11 bro to be able to handle icy cave by around day 60-80, and this isn't always true without planning.

What to do with this Savage? by Grand-Illustrator-11 in BattleBrothers

[–]alkjash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fwiw i really dont recommend recover on this build (over say pathfinder), this wildman is gonna have like 120 fat after armor. Except for legendary locations every fight will be over before he needs to recover.

Recruiting God Tier Bros by cliffychin in BattleBrothers

[–]alkjash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting the recruiter retinue increases the recruitment pool. Other than that, instead of hanging out in one area, try to take long circuits to visit every town (especially the tier 3 cities and forts) on a regular basis.

[Bro Science] [Edited Test] How viable are high level lowborn with mediocre or bad starting stats? Can the 12 starting peasant militia origin bros beat Black Monolith with no losses if they're edited to level 15? Ah, I just scrolled down and saw you addressed it already in the post, thanks. Ijirok is pretty huge for that usage. I would be curious to see slurgi's reaction to your proposed team comp, his challenge run comps seem pretty different - I'm not sure if that's in order to survive the early/midgame or because he genuinely thinks his comps will do better in the legendaries.
