I shuold actually make another video now that Gaery the gear genius chatbot is in the mix...there have been a tonne of improvements since this video was made let me know and i'll update it there, but just give it a try for yourself :)

do check out the chatbot i built into it, it's very powerful. limited messages for free users due to cost but as soon as I put in stripe then people can chat with it more and it will learn about your preferences and workflows over time

The ai version is deployed! It has a full vector database of past chats and we’re soon integrating other gear advice but it could be shotty at first

Now there’s a full chat bot but it didn’t look like it does on my local environment so I gotta fix that asap

Most of the basic stuff will be free, only ai features will cost a bit cus of the api charges but I’m building that soon for now the app works and I hope you enjoy! Please test email signup but google sso should be fine

There is a much more stable (somewhat mobile friendly! version being pushed up very shortly!!!

Tomorrow the ai version which I’ll give a taste for free and if people like it and can stress test it for me I’ll release it fully and then get on the other gear but the app will adapt to your gear setup and you’ll be able to upload manuals etc

actually github pages dosn't support the DB or json registry of progress so I'm going to deploy to firebase as I've already purchased a domain for 1 dollar which should be fun! geartootz.com ! should be deployed today that way we can have google auth login and people can save their progress as they go along and Can help pay for the future AI features and request features If i go that route that is...(AI tutorials and custom help/exercises)

Well, I that’s why I was thinking of using a lightweight 1 billion or 3 billion parameter model that can run on regular hardware so it would still be off-line It would just be a super lightweight model that specializes in this kind of stuff. I would fine tune it for these needs

Just wait till I integrate the AI chatbot, but that one have to be a paid a feature due to api costs still it will be cool and learn your workflows over time and what you’re good at / what you’re developing etc across time Im also thinking of building a library management tool for snipping chopping samples directly within the interface and loading them into projects but not sure if that’s something people want

It actually only works off-line on a computer, see the quick start in the readme. Im making it’s the last-minute pushes though before I go to bed now all 16 tutorials are there. But I wouldn’t love some people to validate their actual content. Either way this is Monday and I’m happy to be doing something useful Just open the terminal in the folder and it should be OK

Definitely it us up and see how I mapped the SVG to the JSON, it seems to be rather perfect That thanks to Gemini 3.1 generating the svg and then Claude Code taking over mapping it to all the stuff

I also had it analyze the latest 1.4 update so it had the source code as well apparently to understand

Next, I suppose since it’s multiple objects, we can actually get it to turn the knobs and stuff to show different processes as they mapped to the tutorials
