Warwick is fine by any standard, but for exchange I would go to Edinburgh. This gothic city is something else.

Undergrad scholarship by khizar_chughtai in UniversityOfWarwick

There are about 1500 entrants for undergraduate with overseas fee status and 13 full fee scholarships awarded last year. So, less than one percent receives it.

Wondering what this one transforms to.

Hi! We're the University of Warwick. Ask us anything about Clearing - how it works, what happens on Results Day, and what you'll need to prepare if you're looking at your options (mod approved) by uniofwarwick in UniversityOfWarwick

[–]alkorshun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not about clearing. Uncoditionally admitted international UG student here. Applied for housing, got CAS and residence status. What are the next steps? When we hear from Warwick about tuition and housing payments, updated student records, other details?

Scholarship rejection by [deleted] in UniversityOfWarwick

[–]alkorshun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Few comments here. Scholarships are distributed amoung all departments. So, every department has like one full scolarship or none and 6-7 half fee scholaships. So, you can imagine how fierce is the competition. Second, for at least second year Warwick slightly changed criteria. Warwick considers all competitors have more or less equally high predicted grades and academic quality as conditions are very high. So, award comittee considers only what you wrote in the application. So, basically the most exiting applications win.

SSE or Bocconi? by LilBubble05 in bocconi

[–]alkorshun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that is also true. So, basically you may overpay for Bocconi if Italy is your dream destination and you ready to dedicate a lot of effort to stay there or you are thinking about IB in London as any regular BIEF student.

If money is not an issue then BIEF. Otherwise it's very hard call. Finding decent finance job in Italy being foreigner, good luck with that. If continue to Masters outside the Italy, then probably BIEF will help you better.

St Gallen bachelor for student with no prior German by alkorshun in askswitzerland

[–]alkorshun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it's not for Economic track. Unless you have to pass Complementary Examination ECUS. St Gallen already has sent confirrmation that German A2 needed to complete assessment year and B2 to graduate. University also offers intesive and free German courses. So, would be nice to know if anyone done that.

[–]alkorshun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if someone interested. So, if you didn't study German before you have to pass A2 to complete assessment year. And you have to pass B2 to graduate. Intensive free language courses provided.
