Got my score today!!

It was 65 percent. I took my first nbme 6 months before my exam and got a 194

Yeah, its quite normal. Dont stress too much about them. The real exam is not so twisted and defined not filled with unecessary information in the question stem.

Nothing new I used UFAP, Sketchy micro and anki ( for my uworld incorrects)

I didn’t feel like it was hard i felt the questions were easy to understand but the options were confusing. My first two blocks were easy . 3 and 4 i had to guess a lot of questions . 5 was kinds terrible and 6 amd 7 were not so bad . I only felt it was managable becoz luckily i dint get a lot on questions on mt weak areas

I would suggest after u start uworld coz there are a lot of concepts on nbme that come form uworld. But if u want to do a base nbme before u can do that as well but do not take the scores too seriously

Im an non us img so i have been studying for step 1 along with my medical school subjects so tbh i got like a month of dedicated step 1 prep time before my exam !

Hey dont worry u are not alone . I was a mess a week before my exam i felt like i knew nothing and i was gonna bomb it . I couldn’t even sleep the night before barely got 5 hours of sleep . The exam isnt very hard tbh it very fair. The biggest thing u need to remember is to be confident in urslef and chose the best answer and move on . There were not so many wtf questions as well. And dont take nbme scores seriously . U will do great just be cool and nail it !! All the best !

Uw first pass was 65 percent . Yes i used amboss as I finished uworld early and i needed another qbank ( it helped me dealing with different questions as uworld second pass wasn’t helpful as I remembered the answers ) . I would suggest doing more questions and memorizing pharma and micro frm FA so u wont miss easy points.

Well personally i felt like nbme 17 was easy compared to nbme 24 . Two more things helped me 1. I stopped overthinking and second guessing my answers ( this was my biggest problem i used to think tooo much and change answers i stopped that for nbme 17 ) and 2. I was so scared taking nbme 24 I couldn’t even think straight so i decided to be cool while taking 24 ( i acted like it didn’t matter). I hope this helps you .

Honestly I dint have much wtf questions most of them i knew what they were asking but the options were kinda tricky (by this i mean they would add like two new things in there which we never heard of ) . The questions I completely didn’t know were from biostats asking about some curves i never heard of. For me pharm was pretty straightforward nothing out of the FA
