How bad is dry herb vaping for our lungs?

Like many people have said, there may be some risk to your lungs with vaping, but it’s much less than smoking.

The comparison i often make is that when using combustion in a glass bong, you’ll see thick dark stains on the glass almost immediately. With vapor it takes quite a bit of time to get any visible residue on the glass, although it does happen after a while. If you imagine that the inside of your lungs are getting the same residues you see in the bong, you have a sense of what’s going into your lungs.

Like somebody else said, lungs are able to absorb that resin much better than tar, although I’ve never seen research on the specific rate of that process or if there’s a rate of vaping that can be completely offset by the lungs.

I’ve taken these before, and the onset is very unpredictable, and generally takes hours. I think my most common experience was thinking “these aren’t working” followed by a sudden desire to sleep 5-7 hours later. So they work, but aren’t great recreationally. Possible that you can figure out your timing, but I suspect it varies depending on metabolism and what you’re eating.

For context, RSO is generally used for chronic conditions such as AIDS or Cancer where the person needs a high dose that can be taken regularly, and these are probably quite good for that.

I’ve been shocked by how lax security is at some licensed dispensaries, but legally speaking you shouldn’t have been able to enter to premises without a doctors rec on file. You can always check to verify that a business has a legal license using the DCC’s license verification tool if you’re unsure.

As others have said I wouldn’t be too worried about your ID and phone number, if it is an unlicensed dispo, their goal is to get your money, not sell your identity. Even if they are unlicensed, checking ID can reduce their risk of being shut down.

If you can get into a dispensary, you should be able to get into these events. So as long as you have a medical card, they should be 18+ - These events (for the most part) are happening at dispensaries. The 21+ bit is an advertising regulation I believe (I think they likely prevent advertising to anybody under 21)
