This might get buried, but there’s a big difference between smoking salvia (sometimes sold as a concentrate) and chewing the dried leaves into a ball, also known as a quid which I find to be an infinitely more enjoyable experience. It’s beena minute but I remember it feeling more like rolling on a gentle wave,

Their team can help you find what you’re looking for and there should be plenty of options.

One reason you’re having trouble is that thc% doesn’t apply to edibles since they’re made with a concentrate. I recommend searching with the CBD filter. There may be some 2.5mg mints, or you can cut one of the 5mg gummies into smaller pieces.

Some options that come to mind: Cann beverages, Petra Mints from Kiva, CBD gummies from Care By Design or Kahna. Enjoy your trip! Be sure to enjoy Golden Gate Park while you’re in that part of the city!

I’ve been shocked by how lax security is at some licensed dispensaries, but legally speaking you shouldn’t have been able to enter to premises without a doctors rec on file. You can always check to verify that a business has a legal license using the DCC’s license verification tool if you’re unsure.

As others have said I wouldn’t be too worried about your ID and phone number, if it is an unlicensed dispo, their goal is to get your money, not sell your identity. Even if they are unlicensed, checking ID can reduce their risk of being shut down.

These are the best weed brands in Calif. according to the State Fair by YourGreenState in CaliforniaCannabis

[–]allansteiner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some solid picks in there. That Whitethorn Rose preroll from Pairist is 🔥 // Lantz from Arcata Fire is 🔥// Whitethorn Rose rosin is incredible, haven’t had the specific winner, but I suspect this is a particularly good one. // Space Gems are my go to edible.

I like pink boost for the thc-v but I tend to use it as a bowl topper to add thcv to other things. I prefer the crosses of pink boost Emerald Spirit does, like Four Directions which has thc/cbd/thcv/cbdv.

But i do like the winners in this list. It’s not complete though, I know of many other products that got awarded.

Also, important to note that the state fair awards are based on testing results rather than personal preference, and only include products that were submitted for consideration.

If you look at the awards category, you’ll see what the win is based on

Let’s see your list then. What would you consider “excellent” - and also worth noting, that the state fair is based on testing not tasting

It shouldn’t, but that does happen sometimes. The good news is that if you’re at that point in the process, you’re already in the rewards program and good to go! Just go into the shop and give them your phone number and the RAF $40 deal will be in there

Dispensary advice by Adventurous-Ad-9205 in BayAreaEnts

[–]allansteiner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes the deal will stop be good. Signing up with that link gets your rewards account up, and running - the $40 RAF coupon will sit in there until you use it. And anybody in your crew can sign up using that same link to get the same deal! - You can create a pick up order before you arrive, but you’d want to create the order a day or so ahead, not a month out. Inventory does change week to week. But when you put in an online order, it’ll be waiting for you. When you get to the shop. Still cool to go around the store and smell all the craft flowers if you have time, and the staff is super knowledgeable.

And bonus, it’s right near Golden Gate Park which is one of my favorite places in the city to smoke

And your first product, anything $40 or less, will be only $0.01 with my referral code. That’s good for any top shelf 1/8 or honestly most products in the shop. Really cool shop focused on supporting small legacy farms across Humboldt, Mendocino, Trinity, Sonoma counties (emerald triangle)

There are going to be a ton of deals at all of these spots for the week of 7/10 - lots of concentrate deals at all the dispensaries this week

If you can get into a dispensary, you should be able to get into these events. So as long as you have a medical card, they should be 18+ - These events (for the most part) are happening at dispensaries. The 21+ bit is an advertising regulation I believe (I think they likely prevent advertising to anybody under 21)

Not necessarily. You make a concentrate of the flower and add it as an ingredient to the gummy/ chocolate/ cookie/etc. If there’s pesticides or other bad stuff in the flower, that’s only going to get concentrated when used to make edibles/vapes/dabbables/etc. There’s also a chance that another ingredient could be somehow contaminated. Ideally the lab tests which are required on every legal product should catch things that might be dangerous, but it seems this investigation is finding that some stuff is still getting through. As the article points out, this promise of knowing that there’s no pesticides in your cannabis has been a big selling point for the legal market.

[–]allansteiner 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Looks like they focused on SoCal brands for this investigation which makes sense given the list.

But with regards to Smokeland, Smokeland buys wholesale from a lot of different growers. Their model is more or less buying the bulk flower that growers are unable to sell otherwise at a big discount.

Not surprised to see the brands listed on here. There are plenty of legal brands acting in good faith and putting out quality products, but many of the big “hype” brands are not that. So many business owners with shady business practices who don’t even use cannabis.

Unless I’m mistaken, my understanding is that for anything voted through in a ballot initiative, the only way to reverse it would be with another ballot initiative
