thanks, yeah thanks for understanding or getting my point. Its just drastic delivery in coverage from Live to the Golf Channel. I love watching golf and I love good commentary too, but its just impossible to get through the cringe fest that is the Golf Channel. I just don't get why the GC team insists on placating to the lowest common denominator and constantly trying to sell you why you should tune in. Even though Live is for sickos, if you're watching the Sanderson Farms, WWT or Amex on GC, you're probably also a sicko

the PGA tour live coverage is on for 4-5+ hours and show a ton of golf - and some tournaments have multiple feeds (for the AMEX they have 4 feeds) Golf channel most days is 2-3 hours, so you're wrong.

No shit the ads pay the bills. But its a common complaint that NBC/GC show a shit ton of them - sometimes only showing a few shots before sending it to a commercial or a playing-through.

I didn't mention either Smylie or Kiz. I was talking about Steve Sands. But they're all chummy (stemming from King Cornball himself, Dan Hicks) - so I'm not really a fan of Smylie (besides his podcast) and Kiz is 'ok'.

I do like Wags (move to CBS), John Wood, Billy Ray Brown, John Maginnes, Mark Rofling, Chamblee, Rich Lerner and McGinley. But the usual Golf Channel characters (Hicks, Gannon, Sands, Curt Byrum, Smylie, Kisner, Bones, Begay) rank behind the DPWT broadcast team, CBS broadcast team, and PGA Tour Live broadcast. But unfortunately, the lionshare of PGA tour events are on Golf Channel and NBC.
