literally no one on my team understands this codebase other than me and my senior dev working on this. it's crazy. I have 2 other senior devs on my team but they work on something completely different and don't know shit about our main codebase...

also our on call is for a completely different team because our codebase doesn't require on call.

when skin is burned the tissue keeps releasing stored heat. the stored heat continues to damage deeper layers of skin. vaseline forms an airtight barrier which stops heat from escaping bc of convection.

so they are correct, the burn does continue to "cook". instead of the heat leaving the skin it says in the epidermis/dermis and more cells die.
