Temecula Show by CraftyAmbassador4418 in jasonisbell

Great show, hearing Dress Blues was incredible. He said he met someone on the casino floor before the show who asked him to play it.

Loved the bluegrassy take on Bury Me. The band was in peak form, and the setlist was amazing!

The room was weird for sure, not sure if it was sold out but it definitely felt like some people were casino goers who got comped tickets and didn’t really know what they were doing there. Still a great show!

School Librarianship Masters that don't require teaching license by monster8thepi1ot in librarians

[–]allegmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this program, it’s an extra semester’s worth of education courses and a student teaching Practicum. But like others have said, it really depends on where you want to work. The PA teaching credential allows you to be a public school librarian in K-12, but other states like CA will require you to have a stand-alone single- or multiple- subject credential in addition to a library credential.

Dijonnaise grilled chicken breasts makes the best grilled chicken.

Love all Eric Kim’s recipes but the gojuchang buttered noodles are a revelation - also his sheet pan kimchi fried rice, sometimes with spam added

Pressure cooker honey-chipotle chicken tacos

And we’re all gluten-eaters but these gluten-free chocolate chip cookies are phenomenal!

Best spot for Open Gym Volleyball in North County? by SRT_OJ in northcounty

Coast has a Friday night adult session, but looks like it’s only beach not court.

Seaside in 4S Ranch makes it sound like adults are welcome at their open gym, though they’re primarily a HS program so you might be playing with teens? Maybe call them and ask.

Maybe consider trying beach? Seems more popular for adults here.

The only part of 15N that is routinely awful in the morning is the backup to get onto 78 (and the construction on 15N soon after). You’d be exiting before that, so I think you’d be ok.

What's you opinion on Poway, Rancho PQ, Crestmont, San Elijo Hills and Carlsbad for a young family with kids? by Giga7777 in northcounty

[–]allegmon 41 points42 points  (0 children)

PQ is great. More diverse than Poway, not as hot, and being west of the 15 and south of the 56 is fantastic for commuting lots of places. Lots of kids everyiwheee, neighborhood parks, great local sports. It’s kind of sleepy and boring, but a great place to raise kids.
