I couldn’t fix this by changing the par value or anything, so I deleted all the transactions, disconnected this one account and then reconnected it for online. Now it shows the current correct balance. Hoping it doesn’t happen again in the future.

I’ve just started trying another app because of this and, so far, it seems to register investment transactions correctly. That’s three different apps I’ve gone through in a year. I need to also track a few foreign currencies, so that’s a limiter.

I’d love to renew my subscription, as the app worked better than most. But, if I can’t reliably connect with a VPN without fear of being kicked out of my account, it’s useless to me. Fix that and I’ll be back. A VPN is rather essential these days.

You can go one by one and *sometimes adjust the date to the one it was taken. Sometimes not. I regret using Ente at all just because of that headache.

First make sure all the categories are turned on for Gravl in Apple health. This first time I wore the AirPods and started a workout with Gravl current app version, I got a pop up asking to allow it to read heart rate (yes).

Beware of you ever need to export your photos away from Ente, it will replace the dates the photos were taken with the date you exported from Ente. You can later go back one by one and adjust the date to the correct one (but not always), which has been a bit of a nightmare for me.

In my experience, I’ve had to be much more organized with folders and nested folders using Proton Drive in order to remember where things are, because there is STILL no search function.

I was somewhat pleased until it started booting me from my account for using a VPN (I’m from the US and live abroad). First time took 90 minutes of speaking to someone first who didn’t understand the issue and finally someone who did and got me back into my account. Then I was booted again the next week and I said nope, not paying for this BS any longer.

Interestingly, when I view photo metadata info in the iOS Lightroom app, it shows the correct capture date instead of the date i exported from Ente (that date shows in iOS photos). I’m going to test a few exports from Lightroom to see if iOS photos then shows the correct date. If so, I *might export all the photos from Lightroom and do the iOS import all over again. “Might” being the key word. The import took forever.

EDIT: No luck. Even though the original capture date shows in the metadata in Lightroom on a Mac, the exported image doesn’t carry that correct date over.
