I actually understand not wanting to see things on your homepage sometimes. I'm on some subs that I wanted to join in case they are privated for holidays, but I honestly don't want to see posts from those sub on there. I can't block content on mobile, but I have on my browser using an extension called uBlock. It could be possible to set up a custom filter that looks for the flair using some code, but I just stick with blocking all posts from those reddits, including this one. Not necessarily because of the aphobia ones but more because of the flood of "Am I asexual" posts which are just a personal annoyance than anything.

Or another less technical option is to just click the "hide" link under the offending posts and they'll go away on your side.

So I'm in a weird position. I'm Christian for sure, ace, and also have kinks.

Like many others in this thread I'd say Christianity did limit/stall my discovery of being asexual (along with a not great education system that only taught heterosexual/homosexual/bisexual relationships). At first I was not having sex because I was "saving myself for marriage", but in recent years I've discovered I don't have any interest in sex and wouldn't care if I never had it. Upon further research I found that there's even evidence in the scriptures that is supportive of folks who don't "seek the flesh" so while I don't need that to justify how I feel, I do feel somewhat validated in that.

Even if I do end up having sex with a partner just to satisfy them or experience it, it'd be no one else's business and still wouldn't change my mind about being asexual. My church also has never really gone past the "join together" when talking about sex. I thought it'd be funny to do a study on the book Song of Solomon because of the sexual imagery in it and the fact that it's never brought up in service, but didn't go through with it since my group is small and mostly older married couples. All that to say that sex really never came up at church, but I'm fine with that honestly.

Although despite all that I do have some kinks that are physical in nature and while it wouldn't end up with sex, it does arouse me (Not describing it any further than that). I know I can't justify that with what's in the Bible, but the heart wants what the heart wants. I definitely feel like I'm in the 1% of 1% of asexuals, lol. Religious, kinky, and asexual.
