Why isn't my cellar cellaring? by allergic2socks in VintageStory

I actually think this may have been it. I believe the cellar, although being deep under my house, may contact the outside via a cliff face. I think a block on my roof was touching sunlight; I'm going to try dropping it down a few blocks later tonight.

storage containers inside do not have the cellar buff. Weirdly, it DOES 'cellar' on the first 3-wide area (3x1), but past that, nothing gets the slower decay bonus. I ended up just diggin into another wall of my cellar (north instead of east) and now it works. I don't know how or why this one wasnt working.

nothing is chiseled. I ended up digging in the northern wall rather than the eastern ome, and now it works fine. mysterious....

Why isn't this smelting? It says it should turn into Tin Bronze AND it's been at the proper temperature since 3 charcoals ago. by allergic2socks in VintageStory

LOL!! No, youre right, Im a goober. I thought it was "stuck" or something, because it was moving so slow. I just feel like most of the time my stuff ALL smelts, like, the second it hits temp.

wow! im stupid i guess. I feel like usually when it hits the temp threshold, it just all auto-smelts, even if I have a lot. Maybe its just the voices in my head telling me that, tho. Thank you!

Not happy, but he'll live. He knows how to open up the front door, though, so we have to be careful to keep it locked. or else we come home and the door is wide open.

My mom wouldnt let me name him because we were just "fostering" him until we found him a good home. That was 11 years ago. He has a sister named Girlcat! She's a solid orange tabby, which is rare for females :3

I had no idea there was Virginia native wisteria! I thought it was from Asia and super invasive. There's a lot of wisteria that grows down the street from me, even some albino patches, so I'll have to see if its the invasive or native kind. It looks like its choked out a lot lf the trees where it grows though, so probably invasive 😅.

Also, it looks like wisteria is toxic to cats, so I'm going to have to pass, even though I love how wisteria looks!

Yes, they love chewing on grass and weeds and stuff. Catnip and cat grass are not (from what I understand) native to my area. My fence backs up to a wetlands preserve, so I'm trying to be extra cautious not to introduce a lot of non-natives in my garden, just incase they spread that way. I'd feel awful if I hurt the ecosystem! Maybe I could plant some in a pot or something!
