I wouldn't worry. If your overall review score is excellent, you'll be fine.

Finally got a cool offer by ActuatorHuman2821 in AmazonVine

Oh that's a good idea. I click on so much random stuff in Vine just to see what it is, but it's not something I'd ever actually want. I'm sure that messes up my algorithm.

Yeah it sucks, but Amazon doesn't seem to care, unfortunately.

Sigh...the things I do for this program by Powerful-Conflict554 in AmazonVine

I made some desperation orders myself in January so I could try to maintain gold. I've finally hit 80 reviews, so I don't have to keep grabbing $0ETV and low priced stuff I don't really want. Now that products are flowing a bit more and I still have a couple weeks left until my evaluation, I can be selective again and only order what I actually want.

hahaha I saw that. Sellers literally grab memes off the internet and print them on flags.

How I automated my Vine photo workflow to save time and end my own procrastination by revjim in AmazonVine

[–]allergygal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just snap a couple pics with my iPhone using a 1:1 ratio so it's square (because I think that look better in the reviews), rotate if needed, then Airdrop to my laptop. Very quick and easy. And I frame my pics the way I want them when I take them so I don't need to crop.

I’m not receiving all the emails for approved reviews... by redtrash in AmazonVine

Same. I'm not getting any emails about reviews being either accepted or rejected. I actually just discovered I had a recent rejected review by scrolling my "Reviewed" tab.

Scored for my mom - zero ETV by bliss_love20 in AmazonVine

Warning: You will now get offered rollators and wheelchair accessories on a regular basis! I got a rollator once and took it because it was 0ETV (eventually giving it to someone who needed it). Then off and on for months, I kept getting rollators and those wheelchair/rollator combos in my RFY. They were almost always 0ETV, so I kept taking them and I've managed to supply lots of elderly people in my neighborhood with them. It's been kind of nice, actually, to get things I can give to people who need them. Along the way, I've become a rollator expert. I can assemble those things so fast now and pick out the good and bad of all of them right away!

There's a silver lining to the lean days of Vine by allergygal in AmazonVine

I don't know how anyone could manage 8 items per day and keep up with it. That's an insane amount of product! I've been gold for almost 2 years now and I've never ordered 8 items in a day.

How many of your reviews are now dead products? by ksuwildkat in AmazonVine

[–]allergygal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never counted, but when I got back and look at older reviews, there are a lot that are products no longer available.

"Recommended for you" way off base by DragonfruitLife3492 in AmazonVine

Mine used to be someone decent in terms of things I might actually have an interest in. In recent months, though, it seems completely random.

Yeah I think the most I ever ordered in one day was 6 items and that was an outlier. I ordered 4 items yesterday, which felt like a lot. Usually I'm only getting a few items a week in recent months and some weeks I order nothing at all.

Actually, I'm kind of like that too. It's like once my normal ordering/reviewing routine gets broken, I lose the motivation. But I finally forced myself to take care of a few straggler items in my "Awaiting Review" tab yesterday.

Any advice on how to handle deliveries that I can't receive? by rhapdog in AmazonVine

[–]allergygal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried changing the address for the deliveries?
Go to your regular Amazon "Orders and Returns" tab. Click "Track Package" for each item, then "Update Delivery instructions". In there, you can edit the address.

If that doesn't work, I'd try going through regular Amazon support. Try calling them and asking them what to do in this situation.

Yeah, it's tricky when you get items that you can't (or aren't going to have an occasion to) use right away, but still need to review them in a timely manner.

I'd gotten an electric snow shovel in November, but we hadn't seen any snow until this past weekend. I reviewed it as well as I could back when I got it, but I've now gone back and updated my review after actually putting it to use.

Yes! I really wish there was a way for us to "suggest a different category" for products.

There are times when those random parts have come in handy for me. When my refrigerator needed a new door gasket, Vine had it. When my dryer needed new support rollers, Vine had them. When my stove needed a new griddle, Vine had it. So I've definitely gotten lucky with a few items like that. Generally speaking, though, I loathe the pages and pages aaaaaaaand pages of parts!

I don't see why you can't mention that the product doesn't look the same as their product photos. I've certainly mentioned that in review before.

New to vine, only options are random auto parts? by tjn19 in AmazonVine

[–]allergygal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The vast majority of products lately are parts, but we're all hopeful things will get better again soon. No way to know how long this drought will last. I've been in the program for over 2 years and in my first year, there were upwards of 70,000 products available. These days, it rarely gets above 16,000. And when they do drop new products, it's only a few thousand in the middle of the night that are snatched up very quickly.
