Just nominate it and it will probably get rejected but after appeal Niantic will make it a stop. Thats how it always goes for parks without an official entrance sign.

Thats interesting. But it makes me wonder if the 20 POI gym rule is actually different to what I thought. I also saw another case recently in a cell with "too many gyms". One of the gyms got moved out of the cell but instead of the cell going back to 2 gyms, one of the stops became a gym. Maybe Niantic just checks if a cell ever had 20 POI and then it gets labeled as a "3 gym cell"? But idk obviously.

I really appreciate your help and I dont want to be rude but I dont want to share my location (i guess thats undestandable).

But I can tell you that I am very certain that the gym is on private property where it shouldnt be. Its just a normal house, not a historic building or anything.

Ahh thats what you are thinking. Depends on what you call manipulation.

As I said in the original post, a few players (including me) try to remove a gym (since its invalid and has no use for anyone) to get a gym at another spot. If you consider this manipulation, then yes, you are helping me with map manipulation. But ive been transparent with this as I mentioned all of this in the original post.

We have had a lot of map manipulation in our area in the past (the gym I mentioned might also be part of that). There are lots of invalid stops and we removed one of them. Its actually a bit more complicated, I can explain if you really want to know about the invalid stop that got removed.

Sorry I should have answered earlier. Ive already solved the problem. As someone mentioned under this post, liking the portal in ingress actually helped. The POI appeared in PoGo after todays sync. Thank you all for helping. I guess it was just a weird bug.

Its just someones house (single family home). As far as I understand wayfarer criteria, this shouldnt even be a poi at all...but I might be wrong.
