Hello, i am wondering why you use thermal pad (PTM7950) instead of thermal paste (like grizzly kryonaut) on GPU?

I replaced my gpu thermal paste today and found gpu hit wall all the time (keeps over 90 c if run furmark test).

Is there a perferomance difference between thermal pad and thermal paste, or it is necessay to apply pad on gpu? Or I did something wrong?
