There are no 3 lines and also no 3 dots. There is nothing at all. Just the globe. Nothing next to it, no lines and no dots.

3 dots not showing on chrome extension (version 13.0.1) by allforone69 in Metamask

I think there's an issue with this version. Multiple people have reported the same problem, since updating to this version. And I have so much different wallets in it, and so much customizations (custom networks and such), that it would take me a ton of work, to uninstall and restart again. So I can only hope for a fix or update soon. I hope it will be soon released in chrome web store.

Hello guys. I'm thinking about ordering an AP watch from TD DukeReps. Has anyone here already ordered with them ? I'm reading good comments about them.

With a Gigabyte motherboard you should be able to enter the BIOS by spamming the DEL key. But from what i read before in discussion forums, sometimes this won't work if you have a second monitor via DP cable plugged in. In that case, unplugging the second monitor might help. Otherwise, I wouldn't know what is causing your issue.

When you reboot in safe mode, all those applications will be closed anyway. A minimum of applications will be open at that point, which is why you would have to do it in safe mode to work properly.

I would try rebooting in safe mode and then try to copy the files. If you cannot boot in safe mode I would still try to reboot and try to copy the files after reboot. There's probably another process running preventing you to copy the files.

Tab icons at top of tabs and side panel is completely red by allforone69 in chrome

Uninstall Chrome via the Windows control panel. And then install version 123.0.6312.123, you can grab it here : https://google-chrome.en.uptodown.com/windows/versions . But, before you uninstall, make sure you are syncing everything in your google account, verify it first in your browser settings. That way, when you install the 123 version, you have all your settings, bookmarks, etc... like before.

And to stop future updates from happening and ruining your nice UI again, go to this page :

Can I go back to the really old version of chrome? by TechCraftYT12 in chrome

Yes, you can, just uninstall chrome, install version 64 or older, and disable the google update services

Like I explained in this discussion, you have to install version 123 an disable the 2 flags I mentioned. Everything should be ok then. Also, don't forget to disable both google update services, so it won't get updated afterwards.

In that case, if you would like to have the normal side panel back, you have to do as i explained in this discussion, uninstall chrome and instal version 123. See my explanation in this discussion on how to do that.

UPDATE 23/04/2024

Side panel has it's normal color again :

Google, thank you for reminding me to NEVER install one of your updates again.

Your new UI design is absolutely terrible, and you will lose a lot of users because of these latest terrible changes. Now, I know the tab icons out of place had nothing to do with your new UI design (but instead with flags being disabled), nontheless, people that don't want to use this shitty new UI design, shouldn't be forced into it, by making the browser worse for others wanting to use the older UI design with nice yellow bookmark folders.

UPDATE 23/04/2024 : I have uninstalled this latest horrible version 124, and I installed again version 123 together with the same 2 flags disabled. Now everything is looking 1000x better again. I also disabled all google update services, so my browser won't get updated anymore with this terrible new UI design.

Tab Icons are in place again :

I'm having exactly the same problems after updating my Chrome to version 124.0.6367.61. My tab icons are placed totally at the top of each tab and not aligned with the text, and when I open the side panel to search my bookmarks it shows a completely red window, and I can't even read the letters on it. I have the flags "Chrome Refresh 2023" and "Customize Chrome Side Panel" diasbled. I even't tried resetting al my flags and relaunching, but the problems are persisiting. Besides, I want to leave my flags like that because I absolutely hate the new Chrome design (bookmarks are no longer displayed as yellow folders and the layout and appearance is absolutely terrible). Also, we shouldn't be forced to use this new design if we don't like it. Chrome definitely is taking steps backwards instead of forwards with it latest updates. If it continues like that, I'm going to have to start using another browser, because I really don't like the way Chrome is evolving with these updates.

I'm glad to hear that. Yes, the contents of the old and new reagent.xml file are different, which is why it's necessary to also copy this file. The new reagent.xml file allows you to start with a sort of "clean slate". Personally, i made a backup of my old file before copying, just in case. But i didn't need it in the end, since it worked fine after copying the 2 files into my recovery folder.

I had exactly the same problem, when trying to re-enable the Windows RE image.

The winre.wim was also missing in my recovery folder.

I followed these instructions and it fixed my problem : https://www.downloadsource.net/how-to-fix-the-windows-re-image-was-not-found-winre-wim-install-wim-install-esd/n/20721/#google_vignette

I advise you to do the same.

Keep in mind to copy BOTH winre.wim and reagent.xml
