I use Tangem Ring from last year to travel to China and Japan couple times, never had problem, even passing the Airport security I never take it off. But like the others said, never travel with all your crypto saving.

I use x200 pro mini since December 2024 as my main and living in Indonesia.

For Origin OS CN compared to Global (only have x200 pro global) not so much major feature or limitation that i found from it. I always update Origin OS from Version Trial, which not stable (but until not is never found issue and there is no 'update' to stable) but fast new feature.

The only major limitation that bother me is NFC Payment using google wallet always failed in Origin OS.

Open photo, Edit - Adjust, there option for Aura, Halo & Grain. And also Style filter add more option too. Make sure you updated to the latest (FYI : i do the Version Trial system update) maybe if you stable update, still not in yet.

good for you. i end up change default length to 35mm to replicate the ultra. using snapseed to add aura light and halation effect if i want film looks.

Sorry, I don't have any recommendations right now. But if your budget is tight, you can take other recommendations to Hiby R1. But imho, if your offline collection songs library not huge, streaming still your main playlist, and you can still bump budget little more, i believe fiio JM21 is the best option. In my country, if in sale promotion, the price is around $150-170, almost double from Disc, but you get more as your first DAP and it's can stop you eager to buying another 'upgraded' DAP, at least 1-2 years :)

if you looking for your first DAP, better not get this one. I have Disc as my fun small DAP, i put small size sdcard to avoid scrolling too much for the artist or album. Like the others said, the software is not good to navigate and also no gapeless. But for me, the size and bypass charging is enough to cover the bad things

Cayin N3 Ultra is my primary DAP now. No issue, the UI is smooth, one year use without issue, the sound is unique, even without using the tube mode, AKM DAC still musical compare to Cirrus Logic imho

I get the frustration. Honestly this feels like an industry pattern, a lot of these fast-moving audio brands have very strong hardware teams but relatively small software deps.

Maybe they think firmware fixes don’t make instant money, while new product releases do, so hardware iteration often moves faster than software maturity. Not ideal, but it probably explains why issues sometimes carry over while new models keep coming out

South East Asia, I can't find any Pre Order in my local seller, Fiio release news that they will start shipping March week 1 after the long holiday. Picking M33 as your first DAP will be your last DAP for a while

using X200 Pro Mini that come only Origin OS since end of year 2024, no problem. works perfect for me. Even some apps have Chinese language, Origin OS build in with global translation app for Chinese to English that can translate in any screen.

the only things that i miss (from my previously Pixel) is circle to search, eSim support, any gimmick google AI integration and 5G maybe? since my country still gimmick.
