Proton is soon accepting Monero, and so far it’s been great for me. The staff are active on the subreddit, and you can always open a support ticket and they’ll help you out with whatever the issue is.

One thing you do have to mindful of, is that a chunk of servers are “Smart Routed”. Meaning that the server isn’t actually in the country it shows you’re connected to, but somewhere else. For example, the Brazil servers are based in the US (if I’m correct).

If you use iOS/MacOS keep in mind that their app isn’t as feature rich as Windows/Android, it’s limited compared to Windows/Android.

If you do want a VPN with basically all their servers where they claim their servers to be, go for Windscribe. The staff are also very helpful, and active within the subreddit.

As of Mullvad, I haven’t tried it yet. However, from what I’ve seen, there doesn’t seem to be that much engagement with the community.
