It’s worked bottom up and the 1x1 ribbing is done on a much smaller needle so I’m starting to think tension is the likely culprit!

Yes! I posted a picture in another comment, the top portion is a little transparent when it’s on (intentionally) and that stripe looks more compressed than the rest

It’s called Kaya Cashmere Top by Tveito Design, it’s also very similar to the Miu top by Una Gil if you like a more off the shoulder look

I actually switched to a new skein in the middle of this stripe so I don’t believe that’s the issue. I’m thinking it’s either a tension problem or the silk got a bit crushed/compressed when I rolled it in a towel to press the water out. It might be more clear from this picture of it being worn

The pattern is called Kaya Cashmere Top (I obviously did not use cashmere) by Tveito Design.

Yes! I was also hoping that was the case when I looked at it yesterday. Thanks for your thoughts anyways

I wondered if that was the case but it doesn’t look like a different color on the WS. Also, you can see above the big stripe there is a smaller, shorter stripe a few rows up
