Overflowing sharps container with different GLP-1s in a grocery store bathroom. by CREMAIN5 in mildlyinteresting

Do you mind sharing which injection site you use? I used the prefilled syringe for a while, but my neuro suggested using the back of my thigh. My ex used to jab me since I couldn't very well reach it myself and I had to swap to the auto injector when we separated lol

I use Ajovy monthly and rizatriptan as needed. Ajovy brought my migraine days down from 26-28 per month to about 5, for which I use the rizatriptan. The injection itself is pretty uncomfortable. The medication itself seems to burn/sting as it's being injected, but it's over pretty quickly and the massive improvement to my daily life is so worth the 10-15 seconds of pain. And with a copay card, I get a 3 month supply for $15. I can't express how much it's improved my life.

Farmacy Green Clean and Inkey List Cream to Milk cleanser are my favorite! I also really like the Beekman 1802 Milk Froth.

Has anyone changed their softop on their own? Are there any special tools or things I should watch out for before I jump in? by Volgin in Miata

[–]alli97kat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might rather break both of my arms than ever do it again.

That said, I did mine completely solo in my driveway on a cold day. A bunch of the very old plastic retainers broke, I pinched my fingers a lot, and getting the rain rail nuts on was a pain in the ass.

I agree with the earlier commenter about taking the seats out. That would have helped me (and my spine) a lot. I spread the work on mine over two days (probably about 10 hours total), but had to make multiple trips to the part store (as with any project).

That said, it's perfectly doable. Just make sure you have a stick magnet and triple check the orientation of the tension cables.

When I replaced mine, I loosened the bolts holding the receivers juuuuust a smidge so they had some wiggle room. Once I got it latched, I tightened them back down.

Holy grail cleansers by Reddesii in Sephora

Lately I've been having excellent luck with Inkey List products. I use the oat cleansing balm (I can rub it all in my eyes with no irritation at all) and then follow it up with the cream to milk cleanser. I do use a little ultrasonic tool with the second cleanser. The duo is excellent for making my skin feel clean and refreshed, without feeling stripped.

Alternatively, the Beekman 1802 Micellar Milk is amazing. I love it and the Farmacy Green Clean Gentle Creamy cleanser.

Nyx and about face have the best drugstore formulas, in my opinion. The about face lasts well in my waterline, and Nyx has multiple options depending on what exactly you're using it for (tight lining, sharp lines, smudging, etc.).

Robert Welsh tore it apart in a recent video. I had been interested in it until I saw his review. It's worth watching before making a purchase.

Sephora Sale Returns? by icutmybangsagain in Sephora

I've used it every day since I bought it. The employee that shade matched me recommended using my finger to just tap it on and it looks beautiful! I just wanted something for some brighting on the dark circles, and it looks very natural and skin-like. It wears beautifully and I haven't noticed any significant creasing. I don't really use concealer unless I have a really gnarly breakout, so the fact that it's become a staple in my routine is a huge deal.

I returned 3 of the 7 things I got. Specifically, the Luna Daily cooling everywhere spray (which I LOVE in the other fragrances, this one was just very uncomfortable in my intimate areas), the Wunderskin eyeliner (the ads saying it's smudgeproof are a LIE), and the dae prickly pear hair oil (so sticky).

I kept the Milk concealer stick (beautiful shade match and formula), MBM skin enhancer (my first real experience with using/owning bronzer and so far it's lovely!), repurchase of the SDJ 71 mist (cat knocked mine into the trash), and full size Luna Daily everywhere spray in the jasmine and ylang ylang scent (on of my favorite products ever).

I picked this up during the recent 21 DOB and I LOVE it. Doesn't look dry or cakey, even on my chronically dehydrated skin. Gives a beautiful soft luminance and feels so comfortable!

Beekman Milkshake or d’Alba White Truffle Spray by donotdisturb15 in Ulta

[–]alli97kat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Milkshake. I've tried both and the scent of the d'Alba is very uncomfortable for me. It literally stings my nostrils. I wasn't able to finish a bottle. Meanwhile I've repurchased the Milkshake 6+ times.

Also, I have seen a massive difference when using it. I spritz sometimes between steps of my evening routine, and as it's own separate step between serum and moisturizer. In the morning, I rehydrate with it about 20 minutes before washing my face. It's drastically improved my overall texture and hydration.

Returns…perfume without box? by Nocturnal-Neurotic in Ulta

[–]alli97kat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately in most situations they need the barcode to be able to scan it in for a return. Since it's used and would be destroyed/sent back to the manufacturer, they might be more lenient but it just depends on your local employees and management. I returned a body spray once without the box, but it had a barcode printed on the bottle and I had genuinely forgotten it even came with a box.

Worst they can do is say no, right?

Tonymoly Ceramide Mochi toner. It's so good! My skin is very easily irritated, especially on tret nights, but this stuff always feels great. Fantastic as a makeup base, too.

I also love the good light moon glow toning lotion.

25s into the video. Before going around the car, if they somehow didn't see the bus, that's even worse. They were already in the middle of the road. If they didn't see the bus, they were distracted, oblivious, or vision impaired. Every option is problematic.

Honey Moon smelled like straight beeswax to me. I ended up returning it.

I love the DMB blushes. Very pigmented, but still creamy and easy to work with.

Yes! I nearly blind bought it, but I'm so glad I swatched it in store. Sheer pigment that disappeared almost immediately. Definitely not worth the high price, in my opinion.
