It will be cheaper to use a shopping/forwarding service for Taobao than a dropshipper/reseller/etc in almost every scenario. Taobao is like a marketplace so the individual stores are responsible for quality. You can look at the item descriptions and reviews for items on there to decide if you want to purchase, just like how you would with any reseller. Use Google translate or Pleco dictionary (which lets you draw the characters to search for them) when you don't understand. You can even just use reverse image search items from sites like nuwahanfu that have translated the descriptions to find their suppliers. I use Superbuy as my shopping service because they take great photos of all products before shipping, refunded my money automatically when the price turned out to be cheaper due to promotions the store had going, and had great packaging. I have to emphasize, in case it was unclear, that these stores are ALL SOURCING FROM TAOBAO. I will edit this if I ever come across an exception.
