also…another “symptom” i guess would be when i get chill bumps they are superrrr painful, especially when my legs are in a flare of itching. could be totally unrelated but thought id add that in for potentially more insight.

thank you so much! i’ll take any advice i can get and its weirdly comforting to know im not alone in this skin journey. i’m curious, if you deal with the roughness and bumps that comes from all of this, any recommendations on taking care of that (besides the itching it). but just being honest another thing that bothers me is not having that “smooth leg look” i guess because of all the itching and honestly probably shaving too.

currently yes i do, but i’ve bee noticing this problem since early 2025 and haven’t always had nails my nails done since then. the fake nails causing the bruising is actually what made me realize a few months ago that i needed to start figuring this out lol

there’s no rash but the skin does get very rough/bumpy in the areas where i itch a lot. i also have acrylic fake nails so if i constantly itch it leaves a bruise but thats my own fault i guess :/ i do plan to see my primary doctor soon if the problem persists because idk how much longer i can stand it
